Hey there! My name is Becky and I've been around and have had dogs all my life. Same goes for cats and horses. I currently own a chihuahua Italian greyhound mix ( I think). I graduated from the Ohio State University with my bachelors in Animal Biosciences and my masters in Master Public Health-Veterinary Public Health (MPH-VPH). Considered vet school but I ultimately decided laboratory work was best for me. During my high school and undergrad, I worked at Petsmart for 6 years. This taught me various skills with pets and people in general. Currently, I have a career at UNC chapel hill in a neuroscience cardiovascular lab working with a ubiquitin ligase. On a weekly basis, I work with mice so if you have small fuzzies, I work well with them too :)
