ABOUT US: Our family of 3 enjoys spending time in the mountains and we love calling Whitefish home! We have flexible schedules, are very active and absolutely adore the companionship of all animals. We currently do not have any other pets in the home, so your animal would be our only guest. We only take 1 booking/dog/cat at a time but will take multiple from the same family (message me if having a challenge booking for 2+ animals). ABOUT OUR LOVE FOR ANIMALS: I (Becky) grew up with multiple dogs when I was younger and have had several personally, as an adult, as well. Most recently, my husband (Jason) and I rescued Taj, your typical goofy, lovable Golden Retriever. Sadly, our time with him was cut short and he passed away at just 7.5 years old. Jason is the cat lover in the family. He grew up with multiple cats and has always had a soft spot for them. While he enjoys a dog companion for all his running and mountain adventures, he loves all the cat cuddles he can get. Our daughter Avery is 10 years old and has never met an animal she doesn't love. Her compassion for the pets we watch is unmatched and she wants to work with animals, in some capacity, when she grows up. We travel quite often and aren't quite ready for the full time commitment of our own animal, so we are excited to spend time and get our dog/cat fix with your best friend! We adore cats & dogs of all sizes and will give them all the love and attention they deserve. Since we do have a 10 year old in the house, we do ask all pets are friendly with kiddos and would love a meet and greet before hand if possible. Avery helps feed and walk our furry friends and so they must be okay with her being in their space. WHY CHOOSE US? We truly love dogs & cats and want to offer up our services to watch your animal purely for the companionship of having them to spoil and spend time with. They will be pampered, active (if needed) and loved just like our own animals have been. We are very flexible to be home with your furry friend often, but we do ask they are okay in the house alone for a few hours if needed. If they are used to using a kennel, please bring it. We enjoy being outside, and while we don't have a fenced yard, we live right on the river trail for plenty of outside time and walks for dogs. We do have a small, fenced patio where many pups enjoy snoozing in the sun. If your pup is used to sleeping on the couch or bed, we allow that. If you don't want them off the furniture, we can do that too. We want them to feel at home here! We are also around the corner from the dog park if they like that. NIGHTLY RATE NOTE: We do our overnight rates as a rolling 24 hours + 2 hour grace period, so the time you drop off, carries over to that same time on pick up day + 2 hours, which is all included in the nightly cost. We are more than happy to accommodate extra hours on the last day or late pickups, but for anything over that 2 hour window, we kindly request $27.50 (half day rate) for the extra day of care (if applicable).
