My name is Beckie, and my teen sidekick is Miss Bella Bella (hence, B & B). Bella is my permanently placed amazing foster daughter whose goal is to save 100% of the money earned here toward her college fund (she's allowed to spend what she makes in tips). I'm a Trinity University grad whose coursework includes both child and animal psychology classes. We've had a love for animals since...forever. I have 30+ years experience with animals of all sorts - tropical fish, birds, cats, and dogs (from tiny tea cup chihuahuas to gigantic Great Pyrennes), Our old girl, Queenie the Weenie (long haired dachsund), was a rescue, and we belonged to each other for about 17 years. In addition, we have fostered dogs until permanent placement was found. Our experience includes caring for all sorts, including deaf/blind dogs, diabetic/insulin dependent dogs, special needs senior dogs, shelter dogs with abusive pasts, dogs with reactive, anxiety, and/or fear-based tendencies (such as separation anxiety), and handicapped dogs in wheelchairs needing restorative physical therapy. Additionally, we’ve cared for paraplegic canines requiring bladder/colon expression. Lastly, we are honored to aid our military veterans and their service dogs and have stepped in at hospitals as needed. We love ‘em all! Here at B & B Boarding, we begin each day with a few bonding hours outdoors before the heat of the day becomes too uncomfortable. During this time, we enjoy interactive water and ball playing with our fur friends as well as free time to dig up old bones, chase squirrels, and explore outdoor scents and sounds...our large, secure, well shaded and privacy fenced yard is dotted with several small pools for fun active water play, squeaky toys, and a wooden playscape that allows our fur guests to run free up and down the doggie ladder and sunbathe on suspended platforms (or allow for nosy peering into neighbors backyards, should your pooch be so inclined....) We give harnessed walks twice a day for some sun, exercise, and pack training (weather and furclient temperament permitting). Potty breaks are given at least every 2 hours (or as needed). Soothing oatmeal baths are included at no additional charge with a minimum 7 day stay...play time includes cuddles, pet massages, belly rubs, and talking to your fur baby in that silly loving voice we all use, saying things like,"You're a faaaat faat faaaaahty" or "Does thaaat feeel gooood?" We are available for a Meet and Greet just about any time, and can meet in our home or at a nearby dog park, whichever you prefer. Please feel free to send us a message whenever you're ready to explore a bit more and let's get this party started! Hope to meet you soon, Beckie and Bellla I am home and available to keep your furfun on their regular daily schedule. We are flexible with drop off and pick up times as well, and do require a 15 minute heads up text prior to arrival for drop off and pick up. That gives us time to secure other furfolk, and meet you up front for the transition. Otherwise, I do not open my front door if I am not expecting an arrival. Safety first! Our beautiful 2 story home has a large privacy fenced back yard. Pets are taken out as needed, at least every couple of hours. We abide by the feeding and exercise regime to which your furluv is accustomed. Labeling and partitioning meals allows for precise feedings, or please feel free to include written instructions on portion size to avoid over- or under- feeding 🤍🤍🤍

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Kodak. She took care of him like he was part of her own family, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Kodak was happy, comfortable, and clearly loved the entire time. We really appreciated the updates, attention, and genuine care she showed him. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pet!
I’m almost certain both my dachshunds were neglected while staying here. We were reassured that our dogs would be in good hands, but I feel that was far from the truth. My two dachshunds were left in the care of Beckie on Friday, April 24th, at 9:30 AM for a stay scheduled through Sunday. During that time, I received only three brief updates, each with photos. While I appreciated those, I became uneasy when I had to request updates multiple times without receiving a response. When I picked my dogs up on Sunday, I was disturbed to find that both of them were saturated in and smelled strongly of urine. My older dachshund (9 years old) has never had an accident in the house. Not once! My younger dachshund (1.5 years old) has only had accidents when kenneled and left alone for extended periods due to anxiety. Beckie stated that she fed them separately, yet both of their food bowls were returned to me covered in urine, which made no sense. When I asked about their care, Beckie told me they slept “on the floor in a 6x12 laundry room/pantry area.” Both of my dogs’ profiles clearly specify that they cannot be left alone for long periods. These details are provided so sitters can properly care for the pets they are responsible for. When I questioned why both dogs were covered in urine, Beckie responded, “I noticed the smell on their last day with me, but assumed that was their norm.” This statement is contradictory, as my dogs did not smell like urine and were not in that condition when I dropped them off. She also stated, “I wasn’t with them 100% of the time, but I was home.” When I asked—twice—how long they had been left unsupervised, she did not answer and instead only apologized. Your pets (their profiles, personalities, and needs) are neglected and forgotten when you drop them off here. I have used Rover for years and have NEVER once complained or left a bad review for anyone. If you truly value your pets’ well-being, I strongly recommend finding a sitter who will provide attentive and appropriate care.
Douglas had a great time and the updates and pictures gave me peace of mind.

Very kind and attentive to our dog's needs! She was always so happy and energetic when we picked her up! Our dog chewed up her harness and she replaced it for us! She absolutely went above and beyond for our girl, and it's clear she really loves caring for animals ❤️
Took fantastic care of my three dogs!! They sent me routine photos and fun videos of my dogs and treated them like family. They are awesome people and we will definitely ask them to watch our dogs the next time we’re out of town.

Please consider investing in a well fitting harness, halti, or gentle lead to avoid sneaky slip outs and/or harsh pulling during both drop off and pick up transitions, as well as their daily walks, should you lil pawty member be so inclined. It’s been known to happen!

We strive to keep your furfam on their regular routine, and emphasize your house rules, sleep and dietary routines in place for them at home as well. Details can be addressed at our meet and greet 🤎 🐶 🤎 🐶 🤎 🐶 🤎 additionally, we upgraded our privacy cedar fence to one with no picket gaps to discourage squabbling with neighboring dogs, and each gated entrance is double gated to ensure safety for the jumpers/scalers that might want to give it their best shot! Additionally, pets are carefully monitored on days reaching 100+ degrees, with hourly outdoor breaks kept to just a few minutes. Please feel free to put in writing any details you feel will be helpful.

We begin our day outdoors, and meander inside as the heat of the day becomes uncomfortable. Our large back yard is spotted with small plastic swimming pools that allow our furfam to splash about and cool off. Plenty of toys and balls, squirrels and birds make each day unique and full of happy barks and laughter!
