Reading each individual’s body language and respecting their communication is key to ensuring a safe and comfortable visit. Animal behavior is a passion of mine, and I am comfortable accommodating for any specific needs or behavioral quirks they might have.

A typical day
What a typical day looks like is entirely dependent on the animal I’m caring for. I’d love to know your pet’s favorite games or other forms of enrichment so I can provide them! I’m not there to just feed them and leave; I want to make sure they get any needed exercise and interaction as well.

I’m passionate about dogs with behavioral quirks and pets with other complex needs. I’ll take the time to get to know your animal individually and provide the support they need to feel comfortable and safe with me. I am skilled at reading dog body language and will respect their boundaries and communication. I am also comfortable caring for exotic animals such as rodents, rabbits, reptiles, fish, and birds. I have experience giving medication (orally via syringe) to small animals.

I have used Beck several times to take care of our three dogs while we have been away. Beck has not only cared for the dogs, but stayed in our home give them complete care and attention. Beck is responsible, caring and compassionate. Our dogs are always excited to see her which is a testament to the level of care that she gives our pets while we are away!
