As a recent college graduate I am working as a contractor at a film production company, so my schedule changes frequently, but this allows me to work at different times and make accommodations.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to work with a pet in their home environment (especially when they have varied levels of generalized anxiety), as it allows the dogs to feel less overwhelmed. In terms of other care strategies, besides giving lots of love and attention, everything will be on a case to case basis with each dog.

Information Becca N. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs, do they have comfort toys or treats? It is also nice to know a dogs typical sleep schedule and if that should be maintained or adjusted (more rigorous play, if they need to sleep earlier).
A typical day
I love going on hikes and adventures, so first we would scope out the local parks, before seeing if we have the energy (depending on the dogs energy levels) for a hike.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and an immense love for dogs my entire life. I love making sure all the puppies (young and old) are happily living their life to their fullest. Now I have my own pup, who loves other dogs and enjoys hikes and or walks with us!
Reviews

Becca had walked our dog once before and been great. Our dog walking experience was likely an unusual exception. We asked for five walks, one each day. Becca didn’t show up the first day, and luckily I was home and saw that and contacted her. She had a family emergency, she said, and couldn’t make it. She said she could come the next day. But she didn’t show again, and again I contacted her (rather than her contacting me first) and she said she couldn’t come again. She did come 2/5 days we asked, and it was ok because I was home, just needed extra hands and my dog was ok. But of course if I wasn’t home, the situation could have been terrible. What if my dog wasn’t walked for two days if I was on a trip? And I didn’t think to contact her to ask why I wasn’t getting a notification that my dog was picked up? I write this to say, bad things, family emergencies happen, and I feel for her. But also she should have communicated with me prior to missing dog walks and/or she should have modified the booking once she was in a family emergency. In the end, I contacted Rover support to correct the time, and while they eventually did, they were also terrible — they didn’t seem to understand the situation and it took a half hour of back and forth texts to get it right. I’ve used Rover for many years, and this was the first time I needed Rover support and I am shocked at how bad the support was in the end.

Becca is super reliable and my dog Piper loves her! Thank you for helping us out last minute!

Becca was great!! My dog Piper instantly bonded with her. Very responsive and dependable.

Becca is always so conscientious with Buddy. He is well loved in her care!
