Before your dog joins us, it’s helpful for me to know a few things to ensure their adventure day is the best experience possible. Please let me know if your dog has had any formal training or knows any specific skills or tricks, so I can tailor our activities to suit their skill level. I also want to know if your dog has any food allergies, sensitivities, or health considerations so I can provide proper care. If they participate in any dog sports or competitions, that’s important too, as I can make sure our adventures complement their fitness routine. It’s essential to be aware of any known reactivity or behavioral quicks- whether they’re shy around new dogs or have certain triggers- so I can adjust the group dynamic and ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Lastly, sharing their daily routine, habits, and any previous experiences with other dogs or environments will help me plan the day’s activities in a way that aligns with your dog’s needs.

A typical day starts with me picking up each pup (or drop off with me, if needed) and heading to one of the many beautiful parks or trails around Fayetteville and the surrounding area for our Adventure Day Camp. During our group hikes, we focus on practicing polite trail manners, loose leash walking, and impulse control. Along the way, we take plenty of breaks for water and rest, and depending on the location- even a little swimming! Some days, we mix it up with enrichment activities like puzzles, scent work, or arts and crafts to keep their minds engaged and problem solving skills sharp! It’s all about balance- fun and learning, structure, with a focus on mental and physical well-being.
