Safety, trust & environment

I treat every dog like my own. To me, that means I do my best to keep them safe, paying attention to each dog’s behavior and our environment. Dogs that ride with me learn to settle in my car before joining the pack hike. My dog, Eddie, joins us on adventures, offering companionship, a good role model who walks nicely, and a good game of tag but only if your dog is into that.

Information Becca J. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has any reactivity, please let me know in advance so I can better prepare for our time together. If your dog has a Weird Thing about certain breeds or is afraid of tall men, or like, brooms, just let me know! It’s helpful for me to know if your dog has any food allergies, as I do bring treats. If your dog has any formal training, let me know so I can better tailor our time together!

A typical day

A typical day starts with me picking up each pup (or drop off with me, if needed) and heading to one of the many beautiful parks or trails around Fayetteville and the surrounding area for our Adventure Day Camp. AKA pack hikes. AKA day training. AKA daycare. Whatever you call it! During our pack hikes, we focus on practicing polite trail manners, loose leash walking, and impulse control. Along the way, we take plenty of breaks for water and rest, and depending on the location- sometimes even a little swimming! Some days, we mix it up with enrichment activities like puzzles, scent work, or arts and crafts- because variety is the spice of life! And novelty is good for dogs! All pack hikes are on leash unless we make an exception with a field trip somewhere with a good fence!

Pet care experience

I’m coming up on ten years in the pet dog industry! I have hands on experience with over 100 dog breeds. Contact me for more info on my services! I’m great with dogs of all sizes, big dogs welcome! My dog Eddie loves tiny dogs and lays down and plays with them very gently. I taught AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy classes for several years, please don’t hesitate to contact me for puppy care.

Becca did a FANTASTIC job with our mini-goldendoodle, Stella. Our dog is usually very shy around strangers but ran up to Becca immediately, it must be her "dog vibe." Becca was on time and very helpful, we will book her again if we're even in the area.

Becca did a fantastic job. She was extremely nice, very punctual, communicated well, and most importantly she was super great with our fur children.

Becca was super knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about what was appropriate for my puppy, Ripley. We had Becca watch her for two days and although our 5.5 month old had never been left with anyone else, and is generally stand-offish, she ran to Becca full of wiggles and smiles on day two!! We were only visiting, so the care was extra appreciated and made it possible for us to do a few activities that we would have otherwise had to miss. It was a wonderful experience and a win-win for our whole pack!

My pups loved spending the weekend with Becca! We came home to a clean house and two happy puppies! It’s great to know that we have someone we trust to watch our babies!! Thanks!
