Becca can care for
Availability
I am a current dental student, so I am happy to accommodate early morning and late night visits. Please note, I no longer accept house sitting requests that require me to stay overnight in the client's home. For house sitting, I can either provide three visits per day that include walks, feeding, and playtime or I can provide up to six hours of continuous care in the daytime or evening.

I want to make sure your pet's experience is as close to normal as possible. I try to ensure that pets are comfortable and happy!
Information Becca G. would like to know about your pet
I must know if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions, or health accommodations. I also need to know if your dog is familiar with any particular behavioral habits (i.e. if your dog knows any particular phrases like "stay" or if your dog may know these in a different language). I like to know if your dog likes any particular route or if there are any places where they are not as comfortable.

I keep detailed notes and provide Rover cards for all drop-in visits and walks. I tend to take dogs down Park Ave because of the greenery and wide sidewalks. One of my favorite inventions is a water bottle attachment that turns any bottle into a dog bowl. I tend to tailor my walk route to the individual sociability of each dog.

Personalized Care For Your Pet
Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life and do not know who I would be without them. My first job was dog walking, starting at age eleven. I have provided walks and house sitting professionally for the past six years. During these past six years, I have assisted with puppy training and have had significant experience in working with pets who have dietary restrictions. I am a dental resident and ask for a little flexibility with my schedule. Additionally, I miss being constantly around my furry friends! I am happy to provide walks or home visits. The majority of my open time is during weekends and evenings. My main priority is ensuring your pet is happy, healthy, and relaxed. Because of this, I try to keep pets in their familiar routines and surroundings. I like to either meet a client in-person or over video call to discuss their pet's needs. For walks, I like to discuss rewards methods, familiar routes, and how their dogs interact with other people and dogs. As a safety precaution, I make doggy info sheets with client's contact information, vet information, and any health conditions. For home visits, I like to learn more about how my client's pet interacts with their surroundings. I ask the client to set out favorite toys, treats, and one item of worn clothing (like an old t-shirt). I find a lot of pets are comforted by the smell of their person. I like to ask about habits (i.e. my own dogs have to go out within an hour of eating) to try to keep a pet on their own routine. Like with the walks, I make pet info sheets, but they are more detailed to account for additional requirements or nuances associated with care. I try my best to make every accommodation possible for my clients, so special requests will be fulfilled whenever possible.
Reviews
Becca is an exceptional cat sitter. Our cat can be quite temperamental, but Becca quickly earned his trust, which is no small feat. She sends detailed updates and photos that help us feel connected and reassured while we're away. Knowing our cat is in such capable and caring hands allows us to truly relax during our trips. We couldn't recommend Becca more highly.

Becca is amazing she has taken great care of my cat and is so thoughtful to provide pictures and a summary of their visit! Would definitely recommend her to watch after your companion

Becca is a fantastic sitter. This is the second time I’ve hired her to watch my cat and she’s been so reliable and communicative. I can also tell my cat loved her!

Becca is the best!
