About Dylan

Dylan is a very sweet cuddle monster. His favorite things in life are tennis balls, treats, and cuddles on mom’s lap. He is pretty high energy on walks, but totally mellow in the house.

He is fascinated by them. He likes to chase them, but doesn’t know what to do once he’s got one up close and personal. He’ll sit there and stare at it for hours and hours.

About Lyra

Lyra is a very shy, but sweet dog. It takes her a few minutes to warm up to new people/dogs, but once she does, she’s friendly as can be. For this reason, I ask that meet and greets be done in a controlled environment (no dog parks/wide-open spaces). She loves playtime and has the personality of a puppy still. She’s a huge swimming fanatic and can’t stand being away from my other dog for more than a few seconds.

She is very hesitant around new dogs. She gets a little noisy right at first but settles down within 5 minutes. After she’s been given a few minutes to acclimate to the new dog, she’s friendly as can be and loves play time. As long as meet and greets with new dogs are done in a controlled environment, she’s perfectly happy around other dogs. Also, once she knows a dog, future encounters with that dog are an absolute non-issue.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes
She doesn’t pay them much attention. I’ve seen her try to chase once or twice in the past, but doesn’t pay attention to the cats once she’s inside the house.
