Pet care fits naturally into my day because I’m already outside and active every day training for a 70.3 Ironman. My runs, bike rides, and workouts become opportunities to bring a dog along and give them real exercise, not just a quick walk around the block. I also work from home, which means I’m not gone for long stretches dogs in my care get consistent attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for hours at a time

About Beau B.
Safety, trust & environment
My home is a safe, comfortable space where dogs are treated like part of the family, not just a guest. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure the environment is secure fenced areas, no accessible hazards, and constant supervision, especially with puppies or senior dogs who need extra care. I follow your normal routine as closely as possible same feeding schedule, same walk times, same rules because consistency matters most to a dog when their person is away. I treat your home with the same respect and care I’d want for my own.
Information Beau B. would like to know about your pet
Before a booking, it’s helpful for me to know: any medical conditions or medications, feeding schedule and food allergies, temperament around other dogs and people, leash behavior, any anxiety triggers (separation, loud noises, storms), and commands they already know. For senior dogs, I also like to know about mobility limitations or joint issues so I can adjust activity level accordingly.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a solid walk or run to burn off energy, followed by playtime — fetch, tug, or whatever gets a dog’s tail wagging most. I build in real one-on-one attention throughout the day: cuddle time, training reinforcement (sit, basic commands), and plenty of talking to and engaging with them so they don’t just feel “watched,” they feel loved. For dogs who love being active, I’ll bring them along on part of my training routine. For older or lower energy dogs, we slow things down to their pace shorter walks, more rest, and gentle affection.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is simple: I bring the same energy I bring to my own training to every dog I care for. I’m currently training for a 70.3 Ironman, so I’m outside running, biking, and moving almost every day and I bring dogs along for that active lifestyle whenever it’s a good fit for their energy level and age. A tired, well exercised dog is a happy, well-behaved dog, and I love being the person who makes that happen. But it’s not just about the physical side. I believe every dog deserves to feel genuinely loved, not just looked after. That means real attention, playtime, and affection learning what makes each dog tick, not just walking them and filling a bowl. I’ve also got real experience on both ends of a dog’s life. I raised my own dog from a puppy and crate trained him myself, along with teaching him to sit and other basics so I’m comfortable with the patience and consistency young dogs need. On the other end, I cared for a family dog who lived to 18 years old, which meant learning how to be gentle with an aging body, softening or mashing his food as he got older, and paying close attention to comfort and mobility. Whether your dog is a bouncy puppy still learning the ropes or a senior who needs a slower, softer touch, I know how to meet them where they are.
