We have a fenced in yard for getting out those zoomies, a dedicated doggy suite for both play and relaxation, and a feeding hut for individual meal times to assure no issues with food aggression. We offer a wide variety of toys and sleeping spaces so we ask that you please leave yours at home to avoid any territorial behavior. All toys will be stored away safely at bedtime. Our pup Nimbus has also been raised in pet care and loves adjusting his play style based on who he is engaged with. I pride myself on my attention to detail of personality and play style and do my best to build packs that will get along and meet each others play/enrichment needs.

I love all dogs, while I have worked with the Siberian Husky rescue and the Shar Pei rescues closest as a child I have also worked with multiple humane/anti cruelty societies through youth and adulthood and come with a genuine love for all furry friends. I do like to know a dogs breed/mix before meeting because while I do not beleave in pre-judging a dog based on their breed, I do acknowledge that as humans we have selectively bred dogs for many reasons, and so knowing about a dogs genetic background influences how I approach issues you may be experiencing with your pup. I love to hear a pup backstory, where you got them, why you fell in love with them, and how y'all have adjusted to co-habitating. This first and foremost helps me to understand formative experience for your pup which will influence how I interact with them, but will also draw my attention to issues that may come up while your pup is adjusting to being in my space and how to best navigate that. Be sure to let me know your dog's play style and if they have any triggers I should be aware of so I can build a harmonious pack. I of course want to know if your dog has any special needs as far as care or anxiety go, and if they have any dietary restictions as I often find food driven positive reinforcement is a powerful tool in becoming besties with otherwise skittish pups.
A typical day
We love to play with pets, whether it's an inside game of tug, or fetch in the yard, games abound. During bookings you can expect your fur family outside 4-8 times a day weather permitting.

As our family is committed to full time pet care not only are we available to be with your fur babies at all times, but I bring with me a lifetime of experience. Being raised in rural South Dakota with a mother invested in pet rescue I have worked with all types of dogs from general care and upkeep to a specialization in rehabilitation of abused and neglected rescue dogs. From birth I have been immersed in the vibrant culture of pet care providers and have had the unique opportunity to learn from others who have spent their life with the same passions, from groomers, walkers, and day care providers, to rescue workers, trainers, and veterinarians. The love and care that I provide for my guests, and all animals I encounter is unmatched and I look forward to building a loving relationship with the fluffiest members of your family!

This is the second time I've booked Beatryx and they were better than I could have hoped for once again. Communication was excellent, they responded clearly and quickly to all my questions and check ins. I got great updates and photos of Woozle having a blast! He's a lot of dog but they handle him magically. My house was left in perfect condition with a very happy, healthy dog inside! I will definitely be booking Beatryx again.

Beatryx was amazing! We have a high drive dog who needs tons of attention and also has a bit of anxiety. Beatryx gave us some tips and tricks we can do to help reduce our pups anxiety. Coba loved her and we are looking forward to booking with her again very soon.
