Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work full-time remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. With a little advance notice, I can easily adjust my calendar to make sure your pet gets the time and attention they deserve.

When caring for pets, safety and attention are always my top priorities. During walks, your pet will have my full focus — no distractions. I’ll follow your preferred routes and routines. For drop-in visits or house sitting, I personally handle all visits myself to ensure consistency and trust. I stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule for feedings, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and playtime. And of course, cuddles and affection are included — I know how important that comfort is when their humans are away. I believe pet care works best when we operate as a team. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates and photos so you feel completely at ease.

I definitely think knowing a pet’s schedule is important, but for me, it’s just as important to understand their environment and personality. For example — are they used to being alone for long periods, or are they almost always around someone? Do they love to cuddle, or are they more independent? Are they comfortable meeting new people, or do they need a little time to warm up? Getting to know those details helps me make sure we’re the right fit and that I can provide the best care possible. I truly love taking care of animals, and I want every pet I watch to feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning cuddles and a walk before I start work. Since I work remotely, I’m able to provide attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. After work, we’ll head out for another walk to get some fresh air and exercise. On weekends, if appropriate and approved by the owner, I’m happy to include pet-friendly outings like a walk by the lake or relaxing at an outdoor patio. Otherwise, we’ll stick to their normal routine to keep things consistent and comfortable.

Hi! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember — dogs, bunnies, fish… you name it. Animals have always been part of my family, not just pets. Right now, my family has three beautiful rescue dogs, all adopted before they were two months old. I’ve had the privilege of being there for every stage of their lives — from potty training and sleepless puppy nights to long walks and endless belly rubs. We trained them ourselves (no professional trainers!) and truly integrate them into our day-to-day life. Whether it’s neighborhood walks, beach days, or pet-friendly restaurants, they’re part of the crew. I’ve also fostered seven puppies at once (yes, seven!) and helped each of them find their forever homes — one of the most rewarding experiences ever. Friends regularly trust me with their dogs for weekend stays, and I treat them like they’re my own. I’m excited to be on Rover here in Chicago because caring for animals genuinely brings me joy. If I can support fellow pet parents while doing something I love, that’s a win-win. Your pup will be safe, loved, and probably a little spoiled. 🐾

It was a last minute booking and Beatriz was able to take care of all 3 of my dogs. She did a great job and the dogs really had a good time hanging with her. Will defiantly be using her again.

Beatriz was amazing! She was super communicative and kind - Our shy gal clearly made a new best friend and was so well taken care of! I had zero worries and we came home to a very happy dog!
Beatriz was absolutely incredible with our dog Midnight. She took care of him for a full week in our home and treated him like he was her own, which gave us total peace of mind the entire time. She kept us constantly updated with messages and tons of pictures, so we always knew how he was doing. On top of that, she left our house exactly as we left it, spotless and organized. We’re beyond grateful for her care and attention and would trust her again in a heartbeat! 😁
