Bea's Dog Hotel
Growing up my family has always had pets, usually a mixture of dogs and cats (with the occasional hamster or lizard!). My passion for animals grows more and more every day. As an adult, my husband and I have 4 dogs ranging from tiny to large who get along great with all other animals. We also have 3 cats who are very unbothered by dogs. I try to volunteer at the local shelter twice a week but we have a beautiful baby boy so I haven’t been in a little while. Taking care of pets is truly second nature to me, I haven’t ever lived without pets and have always had a passion for them. Even as a little girl I always wanted to be involved in our pet’s care tasks. I know how stressful it can be trying to find a good place for your beloved pet to stay while you’re away, or to find help during the day while you’re at work. I hope that I can be one to relieve some of that stress and worry. Our pets are the most precious members of our family. I know that each individual dog/cat has their own needs and that different things work for different pets. I am very flexible and will always prioritize taking care of your pet the way that you do.

Schedule
Pet care is always part of my daily routine, I’m a stay at home mom to my beautiful baby boy, as well as to my 4 pups and 3 kitties. It is so intertwined with my life that I would make your fur baby feel right at home. I am home 24/7 so no need to worry about your pup or kitty being home alone in a strange place.

I have a fully fenced yard and 4 other dogs. One of our dogs is a tiny senior (16 years old!), and the 3 other are middle aged, they love to play but aren’t too high energy if your pup doesn’t feel like playing. During feeding times I make sure that no one feels they have to compete by feeding everyone at once and facing them away from each other. I provide lots of toys and treats (with owners permission of course!) and cuddles (again with owners permission). I will be happy to communicate as much or as little as you need, if you want daily pictures, or even a few pictures a day, I am more than happy to do so! For pups that I’m just checking on, walking, or letting out to potty, all of the same things apply :)

A typical day
Going on walks and taking in all the smells if the weather permits. I love to provide mental enrichment toys. Lots of play with my dogs (if your dog wants to of course!). The nearby dog park is an option only if you permit it. Down time is important too. Treats, again, if you permit it!
