Pet care experience

Your Furry Friend's Home Away from Home!

Providing quality pet care requires a combination of knowledge, attention, and affection. Throughout my experience, I have learned that every animal has its own unique needs, preferences, and personalities. Whether it's feeding, exercising, grooming, or administering medication, I prioritize safety, comfort, and happiness in every aspect of pet care. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals, and I always strive to adapt to their specific requirements. From walks in the park to playing with toys, I make sure to engage with each pet in a way that suits their energy level and interests. I am also comfortable handling emergencies and providing basic first aid when necessary. Above all, I understand that pets are not just animals, but valued members of the family. I treat them with the same respect, care, and compassion that I would want for my own furry companions.

Bathu was a great boarding Sammy for 4 days. It was our first time using Rover so I was a little aphrenrsive. Bathu met Sammy before which gave me the reassurance I needed. She kept me informed daily and would send pictures. I would happy use Bathu again and would highly recommend her.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets at my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment for the pet. This includes a designated sleeping area, access to water and food, and appropriate toys and bedding. I also follow the pet's regular feeding and exercise schedule and provide appropriate attention and affection. Playing with the pet, grooming them, and taking them for walks or outdoor activities. I will be fully aware of any medical or behavioural needs the pet may have and administer any necessary medication or treatments as directed by the pet's owner. Overall, I prioritize the pet's well-being and ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

Pets

A typical day

Play fetch or frisbee in a dog park or open field. Dogs love to run and chase, and playing fetch or frisbee is a great way to get them active and burn off some energy. Take a scenic hike in the mountains or forest. Dogs love exploring new terrain and sniffing out new scents, and a hike is a great way to bond with your dog and enjoy the great outdoors together. Have a picnic in the park. Dogs love being outdoors, and a picnic is a great opportunity to enjoy some fresh air, sunshine, and good food together. Just make sure to bring along some dog-friendly treats! Go for a swim at the beach or lake. Many dogs love swimming, and taking a dip in the water can be a fun and refreshing activity. Visit a dog-friendly cafe or restaurant. Many cafes and restaurants now offer outdoor seating areas that are dog-friendly, so you can enjoy a meal or coffee together. When it comes to special places to go on walks, some dogs may prefer quiet, secluded areas with minimal distractions, while others may enjoy busy streets or parks with lots of activity and stimulation. Ultimately, the best place to go on a walk with your dog is wherever they feel most comfortable and happy.

Medical history, It's important to know if the dog has any medical conditions or allergies, and if they are taking any medications or require any special care. Diet and feeding schedule, Knowing what type of food the dog eats, how much they eat, and when they are typically fed can help ensure that they maintain their regular eating habits while in your care. Behavioral issues, Understanding if the dog has any behavioral issues or quirks can help you provide the best care for them. For example, if they have separation anxiety, you may need to take extra steps to make them feel comfortable while their owner is away. Exercise needs, Different dogs have different exercise needs, so it's helpful to know how much exercise the dog requires, and what types of activities they enjoy. Training and obedience, Knowing what commands the dog responds to and any specific training or obedience techniques that their owner uses can help you maintain their training while in your care. Contact information, Having the owner's contact information, as well as any emergency contacts, can help you quickly reach out in case of any issues or emergencies.
