Soft Hearted Animal Lover
Hello, I am a work from home financial systems consultant. I have a soft spot for all animals. My wife and I lost our beloved Bichon Frise several years ago and we’re still not quite ready to adopt another. However, I would welcome the opportunity to open my home to the pets of others while they are at work, on vacation or otherwise in need of someone to look after their fur baby. My wife and I live in Nokesville, VA in a small home on 1.5 acres. The property is not fenced in but not to worry your pet will never leave the house before first being secured to a leash. I have three feral cats that I feed daily. They never come in the house or even allow me to pet them, they just hang out for the food. I was able to trap them all and take to the vet to be spayed/neutered. Ha, maybe that’s why they won’t let me pet them. Anyway, please know that while in my care your pet will be loved and just maybe a little spoiled. I will always follow your specific requirements (dietary, medicine, etc) and communicate regularly with you.

Barry and Cheryl were absolutely wonderful pet sitters for our French bulldog, Blu! They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and clearly cared for our dog like he was their own. They kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy, and well loved. They spoiled him with treats, walks, cuddles, and so much attention — he was truly living his best life! It’s obvious they genuinely love animals and go above and beyond to make pets feel comfortable and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Barry and Cheryl to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving pet sitters.

Barry and his wife took tremendous care of our pup! They are friendly and treat every dog they care for as their own. Barry was responsive and provided photo updates. Seeing how comfortable and happy our dog was reassured us that she was in good hands. We will not hesitate to book with them again in the future!
Barry was very responsive and professional during the booking proses. We scheduled an initial meet and greet with our dog for Barry to meet him ahead of our appointment. We could tell immediately that our dog was going to be in great hands! Barry is very kind and gentle, especially with our older dog. His home is very welcoming and definitely set up to support The animals that he is sitting. We will definitely be booking with him again in the future! His wife is awesome too and provided cuddles and spoiled our pup!
