I do not plan to keep animals in my house. I also do not want to stay in another persons house overnight to watch pets. Been retired however I do have very flexible availability during the day and evening.
Information Barry & Elizabeth C. would like to know about your pet
I’m planning to do this with my wife Liz. We would like to know the personality of any pet we would attend to. If there are special medical needs Liz could be very valuable as she is a retired RN. We would also want to know any types of situations to avoid putting your pet into. Bottom line we want you to tell us about your pet.
A typical day
On a typical day I get up feed our cat Stella and play with her. That might mean chasing a laser light. It might mean getting her to slap at various toys and eventually settling her into her window seat. Normally I walk 3 miles at Broad Run Park. Since our dog Barkley passed I’d like a walking companion again. Depending on what the dog enjoys I’d love to throw balls or just spend time getting to know the dog.

We have had dogs for over 20 years. Most recently we had a Yorkie that passed after 12 years. Probably our favorite pet that we still miss. My wife and I are retired and have flexible schedules. Hope to meet neighbors and get to know their pets.

You know when you go out of town and you come back home and your dogs are just excited to see the Sitter as they are you. That’s a good sign. Barry did a great job and kept me informed and took pictures. I think he’s gonna miss my little Shih Tzu’s. Would definitely use again!
You will not find a better person to work with your pet and your family than Barry! Barry has the experience of having had both dogs and cats. He has also looked after our two giant rag doll cats and has won them over (even the shyer one). He’s extremely organized and responsive as well. You will have a great experience!
Barry and Liz have always owned pets. The have been very responsible for their pets and might as well when they have watched them for me. They love dogs and now have a cat, that they take on walks with them in a kitty backpack carrier.
Barry would be a responsible person to take care of your fur baby. I would let him take care of my pet. He loves to walk so he would be a great walker for your pet also.
