Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in a calm, structured home environment, with their routine built around secure field trips and safe transport. I have a large fenced garden and two friendly beagles, so dogs can enjoy safe companionship and gentle social time when it suits them. I can crate dogs when needed, as I crate my own dogs, but I’m also happy caring for dogs who are not crate-trained. Everything is adapted to the individual dog. Dogs are treated as family members in my home and are welcome on the sofa. Feeding is kept consistent and sensible: dogs eat their own food at their usual mealtimes, in their own space. I support good manners through kind, clear boundaries and positive reinforcement only. For rewards, I use quality treats where possible and avoid treats with poor ingredients. I’m a CANINE FIRST AIDER and keep a first aid kit on hand. If anything unexpected happens, I act quickly, contact the owner straight away, and seek veterinary support if needed. I have a special love for hounds, especially beagles, and I understand their unique needs and quirks.

Information Barbora D. would like to know about your pet

MEET & GREET required before the first booking (I prefer doing this in one of the secure fields I use). We’ll discuss your dog’s routine, behaviour, needs, and any triggers, so I can plan the right day style. My partner is also a Canine First Aider and can support me in an emergency. He also looks after our two dogs, so I can fully focus on yours.

A typical day

TRIPS AND CARE ARE BUILT AROUND BALANCE: ACTIVITY + LEARNING + DOWNTIME Field trip day: owner drop-off at mine or pickup on route → secure fenced field time with water breaks and short practice sessions: whistle recall, check-ins, follow-me walking, waiting at gates, and calm call-aways from play → back home for a quiet reset/rest → owner pickup or drop-off home. Calm day (no trip): home and garden time, local walks, enrichment, gentle routine and rest - ideal for seniors, very young dogs, hot days, or dogs who simply need a lower-key day. I still include small, easy wins: settling on a mat/crate, polite door manners, waiting for food, and calm handling, always reward-based. My goal is that dogs go home happy, settled, and well cared for.

I find Barbora very dedicated to dogs. She once mentioned how important dogs mental wellbeing is, and that really stayed with me. She seems to care for them, giving them not just exercise, but also freedom and joy. I find her very reliable and she clearly does this with love and understanding. I'm so grateful for her help.

My terrier pup always comes home happy after staying with Barbora. He has such a pleased little face when he's resting after, you can tell he's had a great time. I really appreciate that she makes sure he's not overexercised and sends me videos of his training too, which is fantastic.

I’ve met up with Barbora several times so our dogs could run around together (my belgian malinois and her beagle), and I’ve been really impressed every time. She’s great at keeping things fun and playful without letting it get out of control. She doesn’t just stand around chatting — she’s always attentive, watching the dogs closely and stepping in early if needed. My kids were with me during some of our meetups, and she was wonderful with them too — calm, friendly, and completely at ease. That gave me even more confidence in her. I’d happily leave my dog with Barbora and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring with dogs.

I've watched Barbora pour her heart and skill into raising her beagles and occasionally looking after my dalmatian, and it shows in everything she does with dogs. She's an amazing dog mother, calm, patient, and really tuned into what a dog needs. She doesn't just watch dogs, she gives them guidance, safety and confidence. Any dog in her care is genuinely lucky.I thoroughly enjoy our discussions about our dogs that we often have and the fantastic advice she has given me from time to time. She is the first person I go to whenever I need some guidance. If anything further is needed please do not hesitate to contact me.
