Availability
I am available for pet sitting and doggy daycare Monday through Friday. I work from home on Monday and Friday and off work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. On Saturday and Sunday I work in the office from 3:00 p.m. until 11:30, so if your dog is able to be left alone for 9 hours then Saturday and Sunday could be available.

I have a fenced patio and two small dogs. I can accommodate any size well-behaved dog that is friendly with other dogs. I can accommodate crates as well and I can crate my dogs if needed. I live in the city proper and walk my dogs to do their business and can do the same for yours individually or they can potty in the raised garden bed in the patio. Typically my dogs have their crates with the doors open so they can come and go at their leisure. I do have hardwood floors and some area rugs but have other mats I can put down if your dog needs more traction.

I have taken care of dogs of every kind since the age of 10. I've had multiple dogs and including senior dogs with special needs. I volunteer with an assistance dog training program, Duo Dogs, here in St. Louis. I have experience grooming dogs including my own and would be happy to brush and potentially bathe your dog, if desired. I currently have a 6-year- old female Pekingese former breeder who never lived in a house to adoption. She is super a sweet and excellent with other dogs.

Barbara had our Oli (mini schnauzer) overnight for the first time and we are so pleased. Barbara sent us plenty of updates with pictures and videos, which we loved! And Oli looked very happy from her sleepover experience! Win win! Also, Ruby (Barbara’s rescue) is so sweet and was so good to Oli. I love that they got to interact and even slept in bed with Barbara. We would definitely love to have Barbara taking care of Oli again 🥰

Barbara Carter for my dog and multiple cats while I had surgery and throughout my recovery. Basically 2weeks This included administering medications to several of the pets. The dog was walked several times a day. I have multiple litter pans, which she cleaned twice a day. She was even able to get the dog to cooperate to trim her nails. Barbara is loving, caring and anticipate needs
