Doggy Haven
We are a couple who have had dogs for a number of years our most recent Benji who sadly was the last one who went to sleep. We live in a gated bungalow.which only has a small garden but we are fit and like our walks. There are plenty of walks in the area in which we live so dogs staying with us will enjoy the variety. We have many doggie friends and although we have moved away from that area we are still taking them into our home when their family takes holidays. I am proud of the profile both my husband and i have built which has been amassed over eight years now both in our previous area and now where we live.

Barbara has been great with our dogs. She is kind, compassionate and dedicated to our dogs’ wellbeing. They were off their food the week we were away and Barbara did her utmost to take care of them and get them to eat. Thanks for giving them a home from home.
Betsi stayed with Barbara and her husband for 2 weeks in that time I had regular updates and photos from Barbara and could see that she was very happy and well looked after. Betsi is abit of a challenge while out for a walk but Frank was able to manage that and also gave me advice on it as well
Lovely couple, got regular updates why being away which was nice. Would highly recommend.
Milo had a great stay with Barbara. It was his first time, staying for 2 days - he went in happily and was ready waiting to be picked up, still in a happy mood. I messaged Barbara to see how he was, and she responded quickly, then messaged the following morning to say Milo had had a good night and was off on a walk. Thanks for a smooth booking - I would certainly use Barbara again.

Barbara was very welcoming on our initial visit. Luna is an anxious dog which didn’t phase Barbara at all. I could tell straight away her experience and confidence with dogs. This put myself and most importantly Luna at ease. Luna had a lovely stay and was a good girl which is all we can ask. We would definitely recommend Barbara and will be in touch next time we need a dog sitter.

Schedule
My husband is now fully retired and I have a part-time job. Dogs in our care are taken care of very well and become one of the family.

Safety, trust & environment
Our property is a gated bungalow and although we have a small garden there are plenty of walks in the area. Dogs pretty much have free reign here as we like to think they are getting the same level of care they would be getting at home.
A typical day
We regularly walk dogs in our care and can change the walks on a regular basis so that the dogs in our care do not get bored.

- We are happy to cater for dogs special diets or needs so please let us know if you have any concerns about your dogs health.
