I’ve walked and boarded dogs for friends and neighbors for years and have done extensive volunteer work with animals-it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I’ve always considered myself an animal advocate and take pride in making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog who needs a gentler pace, I tailor each walk to their needs. I’m attentive, patient, and always focused on their well-being.

Barbara is an outstanding caregiver who looked after our Ellie as if she were her own. She provided pictures and updates throughout her stay and even returned her with a couple of new tricks that she had taught her. We couldn't be happier with Barbara's care and attention.
Barbara is a gem! We haven’t been able to travel because our Golden has unique needs, but we had a fantastic meet&greet and successful trial sleepover. Barbara is attentive, caring, and treats our fur baby like her own with lots of love. Our furbaby was relaxed and at ease with Barbara, which made leaving her behind a worry free experience!
Barbara was/is the absolute best sitter we ever had. Barbara was highly attentive, friendly and overall great. Our family had a last minute trip to book, and she made the entire process less stressful. Our dog - Luna fell in love with Barbara's kindness and attention. Luna was walked frequently and given treats, all while Barbara sent updated pics to us. I would/will us Barbara again and again with no doubt that our dog is in safe and caring hands.
This is the second time I have left my dog Avery in Barbara's care, and I could not recommend her more! It can be incredibly nerve wracking to entrust your pet in someone else's hands, but Barbara eases every fear. I always knew how Avery was doing through updates, photos, and intentional care. Barbara is amazing!

Schedule
Working part-time from home gives me the flexibility to plan my day around your pet’s needs. I can easily adjust my schedule for walks, playtime, and care.

When caring for pets in my home, I follow their regular routine to keep them comfortable and relaxed. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have plenty of fresh water, and get the right amount of exercise and attention. I take time for play, walks, and companionship, always keeping their safety my top priority. I treat every pet with the same respect and care I would want for my own. My home is pet-friendly with plenty of space to play, nap, and explore.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged! Depending on their personality and energy level, activities may include long walks, playful fetch sessions, or quiet cuddle time for relaxation. For curious pups, I enjoy exploring new walking routes and giving them time to sniff and discover. I always focus on safety, fun, and plenty of affection-making sure each pet feels loved, comfortable, and content while we’re together.
