I’d love to know if your kitty or pup has a special routine (treats, walks, playtime!) so they get what they need. My own cat is very particular so I get it - nothing is too weird 🤣 For doggos, also great to know if they get grumbly around other people or animals, or if they have a sensitive spot on their body that I should be aware of.
A typical day
I love letting pets show me their world. Whether we’re running in the park, taking sniff breaks at every corner, or going through each and every one of their beloved toys, I make time for it all! I look at animals the same way we view toddlers - they don’t have words yet, but their personalities and joy triggers are the sweetest and deserved to be seen!!

Hi, I’m Barbara Kristine! I’m a freelance cellist new to Chicago, and I’ve been caring for animals since I learned how to walk. Growing up, my house was full of cats and dogs, different breeds and sizes, and I was taught early-on that animals are the most special beings. I recently quit most of my work in NYC and moved here to pursue a slower life and spend more time with animals. I've had my own kitty, Juniper, for 17 years and she’s in amazing health. I’m the person in my friend group that pet-sits for everyone, helps with feeding or playtime, and I can truly say I take better care of animals than I do myself! I will be the most gentle, loving pet-sitter for your baby.
