I am fortunate to have great flexibility in my role as a health care consultant. It is very part-time and often remote. I always have ample notice about my work, which allows me to keep commitments I make as a house sitter.

A typical day
All activities that the client wants their pets to have. It is important that I maintain a healthy schedule that is in keeping with how the client cares for their pets on a typical day. I am active and so if the pet is physically able, I enjoy being playful and physically active with the pet. If the pet has limitations, I would adjust the activities accordingly.

Pet care experience
Trixie and Norton were the loves of my life. Two amazing dogs that I had for years. I also had a wonderful black kitty, Snookers. Although I have not had pets since then, I have taken care of family and friends' dogs whenever possible and am looking forward to caring for others 4 four-legged family members. I look forward to having the opportunity to be there for people who need a trustworthy, loving, and patient person to help them with their pet sitting needs. I am respectful of pet owners, their homes, and pets, and caring, flexible, and understanding. If a pet needs someone with high energy and activity or a mellow, calm, and quiet sitter, or anywhere in between, I am comfortable with it all! I am also a semi-retired healthcare professional who continues with professional writing, which I can do anywhere and anytime. Providing care and dealing with emergencies is second nature to me, and I know that it would be a pleasure to offer a wonderful sitting experience for your pets.

Barbara did a great job dog and house sitting for my mother while we were on a family vacation. She was responsive, reliable and communicated well. She even sent a few photo updates. My mother would definitely book her again. 😁
