Taking care of pets is my full time job. I attended an online training for dog trainer certification for which I graduated in 2024 from Animal Behavior College in CA. I can work on any basic obedience training your pup might need while I'm caring for your fur babies.

I can care for your pets in your home or mine. Whichever fits your schedule and gives you and your pets the best environment to be happy, safe and secure. I also offer doggy day care. My two cavaliers are very easy going and enjoy meeting new friends to play with. I have a fenced in yard with a side and back yard to explore and play.

Let me know if you' fur baby has any special needs at the time of meet and greet or request for siiter/walker. I will try to accommodate special needs if any, as much as possible. I've found innovated ways to get dogs to take medication if needed. I took care of my elderly lab mix for many years to keep her as active and as comfortable as humanely possible. I care for your fur babies with the love, compassion, and care I do with my own fur babies (2 pups and 3 cats)

I love to stimulate with games, treat puzzles, and take them for walks in the neighborhood. I also love taking photos and videos of your fur babies and send them to their pet parents to show how much fun they are having.

I have grown up taking care of pets. Mostly dogs and cats, and one rabbit. I currently have several daily care clients in Destin that are very satisfied with my TLC of their fur babies. I treat all fur babies as my own. I'm currently attending online school to become a certified dog trainer and will be extending my services to dog training soon. I am currently taking courses in dog CPR and first aid for pet sitters. I make sure I know any behaviors/ other needs I need to be aware of at the meet and greet so I can keep all pets safe and happy. I do request that all dogs be up to date on their rabies vaccination for the safety of all pets. I am a CNA with the state of FL and they require a level 2 background check to be performed every 2 years in addition to that of Rover performs. I'm happy to share references to you upon request.

Ms. Barbara was phenomenal for my Rubble. We were in vacation from PA and decided to take a last minute trip to NOLA for the day, and Ms. Barbara was quick to respond about taking my boy. He’ s a shy boy but he had no problem fitting in with the other pups. He even went back to say bye! Definitely will keep Barbara in mind for the next time we are in Destin! Thank you so much!!!
Barbara was amazing as always with a last-minute need for a dog walk. She sent lots of pictures and told me exactly how our dog was doing throughout the process and when she left. Communication goes a long way and that’s truly what she did and it’s so appreciated.
Second day in a row I used Barbara as a dog sitter. She sent me wonderful photos and updates throughout their stay. Would use again!
Barbara was an excellent caregiver for my baby, Cody. We both learned that Cody has separation anxiety as he is never away from his family. Barbara worked through it and made the environment comfortable for him as she could see he was stressed out and depressed. She sent messages, pics and videos to ease my mind. Barbara is amazing and should be commended for her patience with our babies.
