Welcome to our cozy cottage in the woods in Upper Black Eddy — a peaceful retreat for pups who love calm, home‑style overnight care. We’ve enjoyed 15+ years caring for dogs throughout Hunterdon, Warren, and Bucks Counties. We keep our rates simple and affordable: $38 for small pups (up to 30 lbs) and $55 for medium dogs (up to 55 lbs). Large dogs are welcome too; their rate varies since we can host only a couple at a time. Special for multi‑dog families: Our Three Dog Night flat rate — $125 per night for three small or medium dogs — keeps your whole pack together and gives them a cozy cottage sleepover of their own. Please note: Rover shows a small‑dog estimate by default. We’ll adjust the rate and confirm your total when we connect. We follow your dog’s familiar routine and add gentle woodland adventures — sniffaris, forest walks, boulder fun, and yard play. Caring for pets is our full‑time vocation, so either Jim and/or I are always home, making sure your pups feel safe, relaxed, and right at home..

Barbara was wonderful! It was immediately obvious that she genuinely enjoys caring for dogs. She was very detailed in her engagement, both in person and over the app. All around a very good person. Unfortunately I did not get the opportunity to meet James. Next time hopefully.
wow. I am so lucky to have found Barbara. Her location is dreamy. She takes such great care of Osa, who is quite shy and reticent to leave me but Barbara makes it so easy and I get to enjoy my time away knowing Osa is in excellent hands.
Barbara and James were great hosts for my pup! He had a blast playing on their beautiful property and I got great updates and photos during his stay. I will absolutely reach out to them next time for another booking!

Dogs enjoy our individual or pack walks daily on our secluded 8 acre property daily. We also have several outdoor fenced in play pens where pups enjoy supervised playtime.

Dogs love gaming and we know the key to a happy and healthy dog is regular physical, emotional and mental enrichment through scent games, food puzzles, and exercise. What is your pup’s favorite activity? Fetching, wrestling, chasing, smelling, chewing, playing hide & seek, napping or other enrichment activities? We offer it all! So you don't miss your pup too much while you're away, we stay in touch providing daily updates. I love taking pictures and videos of animals so you will receive lots of pictorial updates.
