I have a fully fenced yard and I never leave them out alone. I do crate when I leave and for feeding but I can make accommodations for dogs who are scared or anxious in a crate. Being home also helps in identifying any problems or concerns immediately as well as giving meds at correct times.

Information Barbara J. would like to know about your pet
I do require that dogs be potty trained and all dogs must be spayed or neutered. We can’t take dogs that are aggressive or highly reactive, safety is my main concern. We do require payment for any items that are chewed or torn up (not toys) within reason. We had a pup stay recently that the owner informed me chewed shoes so we just made sure to put our shoes up and didn’t lose any. So please be up front about issues so we can make sure it’s a good fit. I like to talk by text or on the phone before confirming a new booking just to make sure we’re the right place for your fur baby.
A typical day
I can throw the ball for fetch, play tug-of-war and snuggle. Gracie loves to lead zoomies in the yard (sometimes in the house lol) and roughhouse with active pups.

Pet care experience
I have worked with dogs for 30 years as a groomer, sitter and volunteer. I’ve owned two dog grooming/playcare businesses (one in Destin and one in East Cobb). A few years ago, I developed an autoimmune disorder and couldn’t groom anymore. I closed the business but found that I was extremely bored and needed more dogs in my life now that I'm not working. I love dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes. We have a small, quiet, grandma Beagle/Chihuahua mix and a medium sized foster who loves to play. We have a HUGE fenced-in yard with lots of trees, they go out at least 4 times a day but usually 6-8 depending on weather. There’s a deck for them to sun on if they want (when it’s not too hot) but I never leave them out alone. I will send updates, pictures and short videos, the frequency is usually up to you. I worked for a veterinarian for 4 years and feel comfortable giving all meds and I will always let you know if ANYTHING doesn’t seem normal. I will do everything I can to make your pet feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. Dogs have been my passion for my entire life (my mom said I wouldn't take my naps until I watched Lassie)... I’d love to spoil your furbaby, hang out and give him/her a vacation so you can relax and enjoy yours.
