I've had dogs almost all my life. I am familiar with obedience training and have cared for many seniors. When I lived up north, I boarded dogs in my home. My home here in Florida has a fenced dog run with pet door.

This was our first pet sitting service. Barbara did a wonderful job of providing loving care to our dog Mia. She was conscientious, thoughtful, caring and she anticipated Mia’s needs. We did not worry much about her ability to manage these pet services.
Barbara is a very attentive pet sitter. Our dog enjoyed her time with Barbara. We recommend her to others and would definitely use her again if back in the area.
Very reliable
We were headed out of town for Christmas, and needed a dog sitter. After reading many reviews, we contacted Barbara, and set up a meet and greet with her dogs Rona and Luci. She has a large fenced in yard, which was great for our dog. She was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She will only take a max of 3 dogs (in addition to her own 2, for a total of 5). We dropped off our dog who reunited with Rona and Luci, and met the other two guests who would be part of the pack during the stay. We stuck around for a little while and watched while the dogs got to know each other a little. They were running around and playing in no time, which made us feel comfortable knowing that all of the dogs were getting along. Barbara was great with sending us pictures and keeping us updated throughout the stay. Pick up went smoothly. We can't thank Barbara enough, and look forward to the next visit!
Barb is a fantastic dog sitter. Max loved his stay here. Her yard is a fantastic room for a pup to roam!
Oscar had a great time with Barbara and her pups. She was extremely accommodating of our schedules. She has a great back yard for the dogs to run around in.

Schedule
I am a freelance editor, so my work is transportable. Busiest times are generally in early evening but sometimes during the day. I am almost never away from home for more than 4 hrs.

I have a dog door from the lanai that leads out into a fenced dog yard at the side of the house. I can also crate as needed or set up a doggie playpen.
A typical day
We play with toys, and I give lots of pets and cuddles. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Dog can sleep in bedroom with me. Dog can also sleep in other rooms if desired. Time I'll spend with your dog I work at home so can be with dog most of the day and go for walks on dog's preferred schedule.
