Doggie Heaven
My love for dogs began more than 35 years ago with a Bichon named Sam. We found him as a puppy and he quickly became a member of the family. Throughout the years, I've raised nine dogs. These animals have given me so much love. I currently have a great little six-year-old guy named "Frankie.” I'm retired and home most of the time so I can provide undivided attention your precious pet. I feed my dog twice a day and a few treats when warranted. The treats he receives are natural and healthy. I love dogs and will take good care of yours as if they were my own. Frankie is waiting to play! I can care for your pet overnight/weekend/week(s). I also follow any feeding schedule and guidelines they are used to. I have a large, fenced yard and a friendly pup who loves to play but also likes his naps during the day. My home is “pet-proofed” to avoid pets getting into something they shouldn’t.

Barbara was a wonderful host to Tucker. We left him for the first time with her for two weeks and it was no problem. She kept us informed about how he was doing and sent some pictures too. She was gracious and lovely when our flight was delayed getting home. She has her own pup and sometimes will have more than one boarder which Tucker loved! Will use Barbara again and highly recommend.
This was the first time Etta stayed with Barbara. She seemed to have a very nice time and was happy and relaxed when we picked her up. We will definitely have Etta stay with Barbara again.
Barbara took great care of my bichon, Marvin. She was very accommodating with an early drop-off time and she was very flexible and understanding when my return flight home had a significant delay. I loved the photos and updates. Clearly, Marvin was having a good time. I couldn't have asked for anything more!
Milou had a wonderful time staying with Barbara and he was very well taken care of. Barbara was very easy to communicate with and she sent us lots of photos which we appreciated.
We trust Barbara with our older dog. He has a good experience there and always finds a friend to play with.
Barbara is fabulous! She texted and send pics every day. She was careful to keep Rosie on a tie. She loves dogs and it shows! She’s terrific with Rosie and I could see the love for all her boarders. I totally trusted her with our girl.

It is my main focus. I do not work outside of the home so I am available most of the time to care for the needs of the puppies.

I have a fenced-in shaded back yard with lots of squirrels and bunnies and birds to chase that keep the little guys happy and well-exercised.

A typical day
To encourage physical activity, we play with toys and balls. I walk the dogs in the neighborhood and give them plenty of time to “smell the flowers” along the way.
