I work outside of the home only 2:15 a day Monday through Friday. This leaves me all day to tend to your pets’ every need. I wake up early, walk the dogs and feed them all. Then I let them outside for frequent bathroom breaks. I walk the dogs again the evenings after the sidewalk has had a chance to cool down. And feed them again. I am also flexible to whatever schedule you would like me to follow. My work schedule is from 10:45 am to 1 pm. So I am available the rest of the day for whatever is needed.

I care for pets in my home with the same care I give my own pets. I am also very good at following instructions, so I will do whatever you need me to. My animals are allowed on the furniture and the bed. I will not let your animals do that if you don’t want me to. When I come to your house for drop-ins, I will do it at the time you need me to and follow the instructions you give.

Information Barbara G. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if your pets get along with other animals, as I have a Jack Russell terrier mix and a cat at home. I need to know if they are aggressive towards children. I have 2 in the house although one is a teenager and one is 9, so they know to leave a stranger animal alone, and will not antagonize in any way. I also need to know any special instructions.
A typical day
I will wake up, let the dog outside right away, then get their breakfast ready. Then we will go for a long walk, longer than 30 minutes. Next we will go home and rest, play, pet, whatever the dog is into. Then I will let the dog out, and if the dog doesn’t go to the bathroom, I will give the dog a short walk, before I go to my 2 hour work shift at 10:45. Then I’ll come home, let the dog out again, and do another possible quick walk if it isn’t too hot. Then we will go about our day, playing, petting, sleeping, until it’s time for dinner. After dinner when the sidewalk is cool, we will go for another long walk. Of course this is flexible if you have special requests or other needs.

Loving care for your best friend.
Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs and cats for 16+ years and often dog sit for friends. My pup gets daily walks and playtime, and my cat enjoys both play and a tidy litter box—plus space when she wants it! I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and respect as my own.

Reviews

Barbara was great with our two big dogs (90lbs each). They looked forward to seeing her every day. We returned home and had healthy, happy pups. Highly Recommend!!

Barbara took our dog in for a multi-week stay. We received updates and photos, as requested. Our dog had a great time and will be back!

Barbara is a fantastic pet sitter! She took great care of our elderly dog and cats. Great communication and responsiveness! I would hire her again without hesitation!

Barb is a great sitter, she makes me feel like my fur babies are in good hands!!!
