I booked an overnight, 2 days with Barbara. This was the second time and I can’t be happier about the care and understanding that she has for my senior dog. She meets him where he’s at and ensures that his stay is enjoyable and stress free. On my end, I feel reassured that he’s well taken care of and appreciate the daily pics and updates.
Barbara was the greatest host for our Mico! She provided regular updates, photos and videos. Mico had a wonderful time at Barbara’s and will be so happy to go back!

Barbara took exceptional care of Bambi. Finding someone you trust with your pup for an extended trip is always stressful, but Barbara made the entire experience completely worry-free. Every single day, she sent adorable photo updates that brightened my day and gave me total peace of mind. Her two Chihuahuas, Ozzy and Daisy, were the absolute sweetest companions and welcomed Bambi like family. It was wonderful knowing Bambi had built-in best friends to play and cuddle with the whole time. Barbara is attentive, caring, and a true animal lover. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to bring my dogs back to her, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for top-tier care!
We had such a great experience! It was our dog’s first time staying with a pet sitter, so we were a little nervous, but everything went incredibly well. She was clearly very comfortable, happy and well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her!
Barbara took care of my senior dog for the first time this weekend. From booking, to meeting and throughout the boarding she was responsive, thoughtful and reassuring. I received regular updates and pictures. Whenever I leave my dog, I am anxious, no matter who is caring for him. Barbara's calm, caring, easy-going manner put me at ease right away. I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home environment where every pet is treated like part of the family. I follow each pet’s regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I also take the time to understand each pet’s individual personality, habits, and needs so they can feel comfortable and secure while in my care. My goal is to make their stay feel like a home away from home while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

A typical day
Caring for pets involves maintaining a consistent routine that supports their health, happiness, and overall well-being. Each day includes nutritious meals, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, activities may include daily walks, outdoor playtime in a secure yard, games of fetch, interactive toys, treats, cuddles, and lots of one-on-one attention. I make sure every pet feels comfortable, entertained, and included while closely monitoring their behaviour and individual needs. At the end of the day, I provide a calm, cozy environment where they can relax and settle in for the night.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their individual needs and routine. This includes their age, temperament, feeding and bathroom schedules, exercise needs, medications, allergies, and any health concerns. I also ask about their likes, dislikes, fears, behaviours, and any commands or house rules they are accustomed to. Emergency contact and veterinarian information are also important. Having these details helps me maintain their normal routine and provide safe, comfortable, and personalized care while they are away from home.
