Availability
We're home all day, so your dog will get LOTS of attention, including walks in our quiet neighborhood or at nearby parks. We're early risers and will take your dog out for a quick "bio break" as soon as we get up. The rest of the day, we'll follow your dog's routine, as long as we can be in bed by 9pm.

Your dog will be free to hang out with us wherever we are in our ~1,500 sq ft ranch home. Your rules are our rules. If your pup is allowed on the couch at home, he/she will be welcome on ours (as long as there's room for us to sit there when we want to). If the couch is forbidden at your home, we will enforce that rule at ours. Same goes with our bed (smaller dogs only, though). We have an unfenced yard, so we offer at least two walks per day.

Please let us know your dog's general temperament: Is he/she high energy or low energy? What stresses him/her? What are his/her favorite activities? Will he/she require any special medical treatments while in our care?
A typical day
We frequently go for walks in our neighborhood. A nearby cemetery offers us a place to take nice, long walks away from cars. We find most dogs we watch enjoy just "hanging" with us outside. In the warmer months, we frequently sit out on our backyard deck and will have your dog join us there either on our pully line (small to medium size dogs only) or on leash. If we're doing yardwork or shoveling the driveway out front, we'll have your dog with us there on a long, secure lead attached to our front porch. And when we're all inside, we'll play whatever game(s) your dog is into -- catch, fetch, hide & seek.

We LOVE dogs (and they seem to love us)! Each of us have had dogs for many years in our past; we know the ins and outs of making sure your dog is happy, healthy, and secure while staying with us. We can handle all sizes... just no puppies (less than 2 years old), please!
