I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own who I absolutely adore. Caring for animals is something I take very seriously, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I’m comfortable administering medications when needed. I love going on walks, providing enrichment, and also spending calm time cuddling and keeping pets relaxed and happy. You can count on me to be attentive, patient, and reliable! I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

I have a large fenced backyard and two friendly dogs who can provide companionship if your pet enjoys being around other dogs. I always prioritize safe, gradual introductions and closely supervise all interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. I’m happy to crate dogs or allow them to roam freely based on your preferences and your pet’s routine. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I will respect your space and follow all instructions carefully to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I’m attentive to safety, keep a clean and calm environment, and will make sure your pet feels secure and well cared for at all times!

Barbara is one of the best pet owners and pet sitters I know. She prides herself on taking at least one long walk every day with her dogs and the dogs she watches (if they are able) to make sure they get the activity they deserve. Her dogs seriously won't go a day without a walk, exercise, or a mental stimulating game, rain or shine. She has broad experience watching dogs and cats of all sizes and ages each with unique individual needs. Whether watching my friend's five cats, or my two large dogs and elderly small dog, Barbara is always reliable. I think it is also important to mention that Barbara's dogs require daily medication, so she is well experienced in giving pills/medication to animals in addition to first aid. If your fur kids need someone to give them love, attention, and that necessary activity to get their energy out, she is the perfect match for you!

Schedule
I currently work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule. I like to spend my breaks and free time getting outside, so I’m able to incorporate walks, check-ins, and quality time with pets throughout the day. This allows me to be attentive, reliable, and responsive to your pet’s needs!
