I grew up in a family that raised many animals. My uncle is a veterinarian and I always helped him out since I was a child. We are passionate about animal rescue and rehabilitation. I’ve worked as a veterinarian assistant, dog trainer, pet sitter, doggy daycare as well as fostering for rescues.

Barbara did a wonderful job caring for our dog. She provided daily photo updates and consistent communication, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was clearly well cared for and happy. I would absolutely book Barbara again and highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I’m also a homebody and prefer to stay home or go out for walks with my dogs with the exception of a few fish group meetings from time to time.

I have a large sfh with a large fenced yard and a deck. I like to always supervise and interact with the dogs while they’re outside. There’s plenty of couches and rest areas to hang out as well. I keep foods, chemicals and toxic plants out of reach. Also have a carpet cleaning machine and it is used on a regular basis.
Pets
A typical day
We tend to go on walks at least once a day depending on weather. We also go out and enjoy the sun out in the deck at least once a day as well. I spend a good amount of time playing with my dog in the backyard since he’s high energy, also have a little kiddie pool (change water daily) so he can jump around and get refreshed. If it’s raining or weather is too extreme then we play in the basement. We occasionally go to the river close to my house where there’s nice trails.
