I am an animal lover who can not wait to meet you and your dog(s) and/or cat(s). I am ready to give your furry family members lots of attention and affection and go for tons of walks! We can walk around the neighborhood or go to a local dog park. I am a proud cat mom to two senior kitties, one DSH and one Persian. I have been pet sitting for 18 years for dogs of all sizes and breeds from 4lb chihuahuas to 100lb Labrador retrievers as well as cats of all ages. I am comfortable with any age from puppy to senior dogs and have experience administering oral medications to dogs and cats. I have past experience volunteering weekly as a dog walker for an animal shelter and it gave me a ton of exposure to many different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I am comfortable following whatever routines you have established, including crating dogs if that’s what works for you and your family. I am always careful to secure your home and make an effort to leave the house in the same condition (or better) than I found it!

Barbara was outstanding in every way, from our first communications through the end of the stay. She is an excellent communicator, was very comfortable with my senior dogs, sent photos and updates, left the house in great shape, and was a pleasure to deal with. I would be happy to have her come back.
Barbara is amazing!! She took care of our two dogs for a week and not only gave them lots of love and attention, she also is a fantastic communicator—-really listening to our instructions, asking questions when needed, and giving us updates. We are always nervous with one of our dogs because she is a little high maintenance, but Barbara figured her out right away. What brings this whole experience to the next level was that one of our dogs came down with a GI issue right before we left. We even considered staying home. She needed pretty much constant watching and woke up every couple of hours each night. This was obviously not what we had expected, but Barbara never complained and gave our poor sick girl all the love and care she needed, even making some special food for her and taking care of some meds. Barbara handled all of this flexibly and with confidence and professionalism. Thank you, Barbara! We hope you can watch our girls again when everyone is healthy!
Barbara did an excellent job looking after our cat Leo while we were away. She sent regular updates and even helped Leo through an ant invasion!
Barbara is fantastic! Our pets love her and I’m 100% confident they’ll be well taken care of when she stays. Everyone and everything is in great shape when we come home. I highly recommend Barbara !
Barbara was extremely thoughtful in housesitting and took great care of my dog, who loved her! I arranged for her to stay with my dog a bit last minute, and she was wonderfully thorough in making sure she knew exactly how to best care for him including his special diet, medications, favorite walk spots, any quirks. She was very communicative and I loved the regular updates of how my dog was doing. Absolutely recommend and will happily book with her again!
Barbara is an absolute dream from start to finish -- she is so responsible, attentive to details and most of all genuinely caring for our pups. I wouldn't have a second thought about working with her again. We came home to very happy, healthy dogs and our home seemed better than how we left it. We are so grateful for her.

Dates de la garde
I work outside of the home on weekdays in the afternoons and evenings, but I’m usually otherwise home and available to give your pets lots of love and attention in the mornings and early afternoons as well as late evenings and weekends!
