Structure daycare - play and learn!
I have two dogs, Benny and Leo. Both of them are dog social and friendly. They are both certified wellness dogs and compete in barn hunt trials. Benny knows over 100 tricks (and still learning!) and Leo is also competing in rally obedience trials. We are constantly working towards furthering our training. I use force free and positive reinforcement for training methods. Our days rotate through training, play and rest! I promise a 1:1 training session (topic of choice) and a 30 minute solo walk per day and many many photo updates! I have a fully fenced yard and I take my boys to a private dog park twice a week to run like maniacs. Your dog would be included in all our activities and regular routine! I do require dogs to be crate trained for their stay - both my dogs take an afternoon nap and this allows for me to do the solo walks with each dog. I do expect dogs to be dog social or dog neutral. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver to care for our 11-week-old puppy over the past three weeks. From day one, Bao Tran kept us updated with constant communication, sharing plenty of photos and videos of everything our puppy was getting up to, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her dedication, patience, and knowledge of puppy training has made his transition into his forever home incredibly smooth. Thanks to all of her hard work, he is fully crate trained, gives clear cues when he needs to go outside, and already knows several basic commands. We were honestly amazed by everything he learned in such a short time. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after and goes above and beyond to give them the best start possible. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our puppy, and we know he's excited to go back next month for his weekly sessions. It's hard finding someone to leave your dog with. But I am so glad we found Baotran! She takes care of my dogs like they’re her own. I really like the structured play she offers, and the detailed end of day update with videos and photos! She also has a nice fully matted indoor play area, and her back yard is fully fenced!
Our dog is on her own vacation when she is in Baotran’s care. It is the only place where she is happier to be than home! We get regular updates and never have to worry.
Baotran is such a diligent and thoughtful carer. She is a passionate advocate for every dog's comfort and wellbeing of your dog and I trust her fully with my dog's care. She understands that dogs, like humans, have their own unique personalities and she takes the time to understand their preferencesto ensure they are comfortable. A lot of people say they are dog people or love dogs, and while that may be true, what sets Baotran apart is that she understands dogs. She's equipped with a lot of knowledge of dog behaviours and positive reinforcement training, having done a lot of work with different types of dogs at different ages. To her, dogs are never 'just dogs'. They are individual creatures who deserve patience and respect. Any dog in her care is incredibly lucky to be looked after by someone who is so deeply committed to their wellbeing.
Bao Tran is one of very few people I trust with my fur baby. Her calm demeanor always helps me and my pup feel at ease, and my pup always enjoys spending time with Bao Tran and her dogs, Benny and Leo. The structured environment she provides really helps to reinforce the good habits I've been training with my pup, and I can rest assured she is being well taken care of, enriched with training, play time and a safe environment to relax in. Bao Tran is my go to for boarding and I have recommended her services to any other fur-parents I know.

Schedule
I offer day training and boarding from my home. My schedule is made around the needs of the dogs in my care! Dogs will not be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time at maximum. Typically we will start the day with some play and then move to 1:1 training sessions for breakfast. Dogs are free to roam my house and can decide to play or lounge. We do a mid day nap for everyone where I will take turns walking the dogs individually. Once all the dog walks are complete the dogs are welcome to free roam the house again to play or relax. I will also use this time to do additional afternoon training sessions!

Safety, trust & environment
• I try to dog proof my home as much as possible. I have rugs across my main floor to avoid slips. There is nothing out or close to counter edges that your dog can get into. • Dogs are always supervised during playtime, in my backyard or in the basement. I also have motion sensored lights for our potty patch for night time potty. My side yards have additional pens to help prevent dogs from potentially escaping the gates. • All meals are given to each dog separately to ensure that no resource guarding occurs. I have a variety of pens, gates and crates to keep everyone separate when they are being fed.

A typical day
We do alot of play in the backyard or in the downstairs dog play space! Lots of enrichment is provided with long at your dogs pace walks along the trails in our neighbourhood, snuffle mats/lick mats, and occasionally a private dog park visit!
