Since I already have a dog who loves being outside I am used to taking at minimum 3 outside breaks before the end of work. Additionally the neighborhood kids love playing with the pups after school. So a day filled with walks and cuddles.

It’s important for me to know how your baby feels with other animals as most of my neighbors do have dogs (all very friendly) so that I can ensure they feel safe in my care. Also how is their recall for off leash play?
A typical day
The neighborhood is so dog friendly walks are nice and long to sniff all the smells lol. There’s a nice steep hill for high energy pups and of course my yard for the pups that aren’t into socializing.

I have a gentle chocolate lab who would love a fur friend to play with. I work from home and live in a dog friendly neighborhood with yard and fields for them to play in. I used to travel a lot for work before going remote, so I know how hard it can be to find care with flexible/reliable drop offs and pickups. I send daily picture mail and always checkin before giving new treats. I have trained dogs at PetSmart when I was in college; so from then on I pet sit for every family member and friend lol. Cocoa is starting the communication buttons 🤩 I work fully remote with a light meeting load which means I have plenty of time for potty breaks if needed. There is a near by open fields where I take the dogs during our mid day walks. I have 2 kennels of varying sizes if your pup isn’t fully potty trained or needs a private space to get acclimated.

1 star is being generous… Although Baja accepted the booking and agreed to pick up my dog the morning of May 9th, she failed to show up as planned. I had to call her myself to remind her to come get my dog — this was already a major red flag. Unfortunately, this pattern continued throughout the booking. I constantly had to follow up and chase her down to ensure my dog was being cared for properly — something she had already committed to doing. This sitter showed a complete lack of consideration and professionalism. Her communication was extremely poor, and it was evident she did not prioritize or genuinely care about my pet. Her actions clearly shows her negligence. I do not believe Baja should be allowed to continue accepting bookings if this is how she treats animals and communicates with clients. This situation has caused me unnecessary stress and concern while I was out of the country, and I do not want it to go unnoticed. Baja was wonderful to work with, and Sirius liked her instantly! While still a little timid, she was one of the few people he walked right up to upon first meeting while wagging his tail and took treats from directly - I can count on one hand the number of times that's happened in his whole life! Would absolutely book Baja again in the future, thank you so much!
