Availability
Between me and my husband, one of us is always home! We have a playful pug, Duke, who loves it when we host other dogs in our home as it gives him a friend to play with. When it comes to drop-ins or walks, I’m available most nights and on the weekends. I’m happy to come by and give your pup a potty break, whether it’s last-minute or a scheduled visit.

Information Bailey R. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of. Are they friendly and okay to meet neighborhood dogs while out on a walk? Or should I steer them clear of any dogs passing by? These details will help me understand whether I should allow them neighborly playtime or not as I don’t want to deprive them of seeing their friends!
A typical day
I like to ensure that your dog gets all of the stimulation that they need! If stopping to sniff every corner and tree we pass by is there thing, I’ll patiently wait until they’re finished! Do they prefer constant movement? I’m happy to walk nonstop until they are ready to potty! I pay attention to your dog’s needs and handle them accordingly.

Reviews

Bailey was super communicative and attentive to Franky and his needs. She made sure his routine didn’t change much and gave him lots of love and snuggles. The regular updates made us feel at peace knowing Franky was happy and having a good time. Shout out to her dog Duke who is a cutie and was very patient with our little guy! 🐶

Our pup Oliver had an amazing time with Bailey and her partner, and their pug, Duke. Bailey sent so many photos and updates and I didn’t ever worry once about Oliver. It was so hard to leave him but from that night until we returned we knew he was in great hands. We will definitely be using Bailey whenever we travel in the future. Thank YOU so much!!

Bailey took wonderful care of our pug. She was perfectly communicative and cared for our baby in every way we requested. Bailey’s dog (Duke, also a pug) got along exceptionally well with Penny, and we got tons of cute photos. We will absolutely book again with Bailey!

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Bailey. My preferred sitter wasn’t available, so Rover suggested Bailey based on her reviews. Since I live in Manhattan, we met for a meet-and-greet in a different neighborhood from where she lives. In hindsight, I think it’s important to do meet-and-greets within the sitter’s actual neighborhood so owners can better assess the environment their dog will be staying in. Bailey’s neighborhood felt much busier than what my dog is used to. I took a 16-day transatlantic cruise, and during the first week I received around 8 photos a day along with updates saying my dog was doing great, which really put me at ease. That’s why I was caught completely off guard on day 7 when Bailey texted me saying my dog hadn’t been adjusting well and was having accidents inside the home. The message came across as though my dog was becoming extremely difficult and creating a stressful situation for her. I immediately purchased additional supplies to help with the situation, but on day 9 Bailey informed me that my dog had adjusted and there were no further accidents since day 7. Looking back, it seemed like Bailey may not have had extensive experience managing the normal adjustment period some dogs go through in a new environment. For the two days of my trip, the situation caused me a significant amount of stress while I was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean trying to figure out whether I needed to find alternative care. Bailey later reassured me everything was fine, and ultimately my dog completed the stay without further issues. As someone who has been a Rover sitter myself for over 10 years, I understand that dogs often behave differently in unfamiliar environments, and part of the role is adapting care to help minimize stress for both the dog and the owner. In my opinion, situations like this are often better discussed as feedback at pickup unless they become unmanageable or require immediate intervention. While I appreciate the care Bailey provided overall, the stress caused during my vacation is the reason I chose not to leave an additional tip.
