Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them has grown into both a passion and part of my professional work. I have 7 years of hands-on pet care experience and am a certified canine nutritionist, with additional education in holistic animal nutrition. I’m also a very proud dog mom to my Brittany Spaniel, Lula, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to learn their personality, routine, comfort level and needs. My experience with canine nutrition has given me an even deeper understanding of dogs, including feeding routines, treats, sensitivities and the importance of following each dog’s individual care instructions. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or stopping in for a visit, my goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is receiving attentive, knowledgeable and loving care.

I currently provide care in my clients’ homes, where dogs can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment and routine. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, feeding routine, walking habits, boundaries and individual needs. I follow your care instructions closely and treat your home and your dog with the same respect and care I would want for my own.

Schedule
At the moment I have a very flexible schedule while I look for a more permanent job, which makes pet care a great fit for my routine. I’m newly pregnant and already spend a lot of my time with my own dog, so caring for other dogs throughout the day feels very natural to me. Because I have my own Brittany Spaniel, I already have a daily routine of walks, feeding times, and making sure dogs get plenty of attention and exercise. I just need to make sure I’m home in the evenings for my dog’s dinner, but I’m very open to working out schedules that work well for everyone. I love the idea of spending my days with dogs and making sure they feel cared for, happy, and safe.

- I’d love to know about your dog’s personality, normal routine, feeding instructions, allergies or sensitivities, medications, health considerations and anything that may make them nervous or uncomfortable. Please also let me know about leash behaviour, reactivity, triggers and how they interact with other dogs and people. The more I know about your dog, the better I can personalize their care.
