I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of playtime, exercise, and attention, and always have fresh water. I provide regular walks, bathroom breaks, and enrichment based on each pet’s energy level and needs. I’m comfortable bathing pets when needed and keeping their space clean and safe. I also pay close attention to behavior, mood, and health, and I communicate updates and photos to owners so they feel confident their pet is well cared for.

This includes their feeding schedule, favorite treats, allergies, medications, energy level, and any quirks or behaviors I should be aware of. For dogs, I love knowing their walking style, how they do on leash, and what helps them feel safe and confident. For cats, it’s helpful to know their social comfort level, hiding spots, and how they prefer to be approached. If your pet has anxiety, medical needs, or specific routines that keep them comfortable, I’m happy to follow them closely. The more I know, the more I can make their time with me feel just like home.

I tailor activities to each pet’s personality so they feel comfortable, entertained, and loved while you’re away. With dogs, I love going on walks, playing fetch, practicing simple enrichment games, and giving them plenty of one‑on‑one attention. Since I grew up with dogs my whole life, I’m confident handling all energy levels — from playful pups to relaxed seniors. With cats (I have 5 of my own!), I focus on keeping them mentally stimulated and stress‑free. That includes wand‑toy play, puzzle feeders, cozy cuddle time, and creating calm, safe spaces for shy or independent kitties. I’m very experienced with multi‑cat dynamics, so I know how to read body language and make sure everyone feels secure. Whether it’s playtime, enrichment, or just quiet companionship, I make sure every pet gets the kind of fun and comfort they enjoy most.
