Caring for animals is in my roots! For as long as I can remember, my family has always been very passionate about animals. We’ve always rescued, whether it be an elderly dog, or a kitten born from a feral mother. And when our home finally reaches “animal capacity,” I love to continue to extend my loving hand to animals in need. I have much experience working with the Solano County Friends of Animals as well as Cal Maritime Academy’s Cat Club. Above all, I can highlight the CMA Cat Club as my favorite and most valuable volunteer experience. The school's colony of feral cats needed help during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I took on the responsibility of weekly check-ins alongside other volunteers where we would make sure cats were well fed, healthy, and captured to be fixed if needed. The greatest part of my experience working with the Cat Club was rescuing 4 sick kittens from the campus in Summer 2021 and nursing them back to health. While my family intended on finding each kitten a home, we ended up keeping every single one and they lived a life full of happiness with us ever since.

Hi baby!- - The most important thing to begin a drop-in visit with is a warm welcome to your animal. I always want to make sure your cat or dog is accustomed to me as soon as possible. The next step of our visit will probably include going outside for potty time (unless you have an indoor cat, then their box will instead be checked and cleaned!) Next if it is on our schedule, is meal time. Meal time may also include oral medication if your animal is required to have it. After the necessities are taken care of, it’s play time! Typically, I make a plan for each animal’s specific drop-in visit. My visit should be tailored specifically for that animal(s). So, my visit may include a walk, fetch in the backyard, kitty playtime, or just some cuddles. It all depends on the animal’s needs and personality.
Ratings and reviews
Bailey is timely and kind. My dog loves their walks together. Highly recommend

Bailey was kind, attentive, and flexible. My dog greatly enjoyed their time together, and we would definitely book again.

Bailey is incredibly responsive and communicates effectively. Bailey is attentive to both the needs of the dogs and the requests of their owners. With quick responses and clear communication, Bailey created a trustworthy and reliable experience for both my dog and I.
Bailey would make an exceptional dog walker due to her extensive background in animal care. Growing up, she was responsible for the well-being of her family's pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Her nurturing nature and keen understanding of animal behavior were honed through years of hands-on experience, ensuring that she is attentive to the needs of every furry friend in her care. Additionally, her volunteer work with animals has provided her with a deeper appreciation for the unique personalities and needs of different breeds, further enhancing her ability to offer personalized care and attention to animals she cares for.

Schedule
I’m currently a student at CSU looking to fill some of my time between classes with what I love to do most— caring for animals! Leaving my home- where I was always surrounded by animals- was quite the ‘culture shock’ you could say. I am completely deprived of fur baby affection! I am mainly open Fridays before 2 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, but I can also work with late mornings/early afternoons and after 3 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsDogs over 1 year oldBailey can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- It’s always great to know beforehand if your beloved baby has any specific behavioral issues, medical needs, or medications, and how I can best support your animal. Some examples may include: - shorter walks (if pup is elderly, has a specific medication condition, etc) - Specific walking attire (boots, wheelchair, orthopedic harness, etc) - Is scared/ aggressive towards other dogs or animals, bite history (this helps me identify walk routes that may be best suited for your pup) - Oral medication that needs to be administered at specific times of the day (please note that I am not qualified to administer any injection medications) These are just a few common things I would need to know about your pet before we start our walks/ drop ins. If there are any other things you, as the pet parent, feel is necessary for me know, please do not hesitate to tell me. I value making my services a great experience for both you and your animal at all times.
