My experience stems from pet care roots at a dog/cat boarding and daycare facility and have ranged to my work as a veterinary technician the past year and hands-on experience in vet clinics the past 5 years. I am familiar with dogs, cats, and exotics of every age and have handled medications from SQ injections or fluids to vaccines to basic grooming like nail trims, sanitary shaves, and anal gland expressions.

Bailee is awesome! She walked Bird twice this week and was super kind, communicative, and easy to work with. Bird loved her right away! We talked about her possibly sitting for an upcoming trip, which is huge for me because I’ve never felt comfortable leaving Bird with anyone before. Knowing she’s a vet tech gives me a ton of peace of mind too. So glad I found her!

Schedule
I am between jobs at this time and have a very free, flexible schedule throughout the week and weekend to travel or spend extra time on walks or giving one-on-one time with your furry ones.

My fenced in yard is perfect to play fetch or sun bathe with room inside the house as well for crates or rooms to separate for alone time as well if needed. I have a compact SUV that can easily fit all sorts of different pets in case there’s any reason they need to be transported. I have years of experience in dog and cat behavior to tell when there is stressors within the environment or interactions with people or other pets to ensure comfortability and safety for everyone.

A typical day
On a normal day, I like to start off with a morning walk around the neighborhood on weekdays, or even a trip to the river or a trail to have a more enriching experience that will help everyone burn off some energy on the weekends. Throughout the day, other enrichment in the form of lickmats or other sensory toys usually keeps my husky entertained and is sure to do the same for dogs or cats alike who are curious. Cuddles on the couch are always a perfect end to a day, or even just a couple good scritches and a couple feet of distance enjoying the same room together.
