Azalea had been the main external caregiver for my family’s dog for several years until she moved out of the local area. She is kind, compassionate, patient, and playful with my dog. She understands the appropriate way to care for older dogs that need lots of love and patience, while simultaneously ensuring they receive enough activity and movement. Our dog is always happy at the end of the day when he gets to see Azalea, and any family would be lucky to let her care for their pet

I have known Azalea for 5 years when she cared for my dog Harry for 3 years while I would go away for long weekends, work trips, or even just long days at the office. Harry is a medium/ large dog with TONS of energy, and sometimes could be reactive when approached by other dogs;  however, Azalea always ensured that he was calm and understood how to calm him when triggered. She took him on long walks and runs, assisted with maintaining a complex diet, and always respected our home and boundaries when staying over the course of a few days. Eventually, she became like family, and we entrusted her to assist other potential caregivers in caring for him as she moved on to a new chapter in her life!

Azalea first began dog sitting for me when we were in college. My dog immediately fell in love with her the minute they met. After a few years we ended up in the same city again, and she has ever since been my go to. She’s caring and patience with my high anxiety dog, always makes sure to set her up for success when on walks. Not only does she keep up the training when I’m not around, but she treats her like her own. No one I would trust more.
