Loving, Reliable Dog Sitter

I’ve been caring for pups of all ages — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — since I was a kid. My lifelong love for animals led me to volunteer at Austin Pets Alive!, where I gained hands-on experience with pups of all temperaments and special needs.

Unfortunately Ayesha wasn’t a great fit for our pup. We had a meet and greet and it went well, but we received a message from her within an hour of our international flight that our dog got into her dry goods and her dog’s pet feeder within hours of dropping her off. We had provided ample verbal warning that no food should be left within our dog’s reach since she was mischievous and extremely food-motivated. She initially said that wouldn’t an issue but after the incident, said that if the behavior continued, she would not be able to care for our dog and asked us to find backup care. Given that we provided clear instructions to keep food out of Leila’s reach, we didn’t feel comfortable with keeping her in Ayesha’s care. It felt like luck that she didn’t eat something that could have made her sick, given the risk of access to unsafe foods. We were able to find a new sitter and she did drop our dog off for that transfer. Our dog looked uncomfortable and anxious in photos she sent, including one where it seemed she “placed” our dog by the trash that she apparently got into. While I understand her frustration with the messes, we were clear about our dog’s ability and motivation to get into food. It felt unsettling to have a sitter ask us to find replacement care when we were already on our way out of the country. She also didn’t respond to our message asking about modifying the booking.

Ayesha was great with our new rescue pup Kevin, and understanding of his nerves in a new environment and him taking some time to settle in. She gave us a lot of great feedback to set Kevin up for success in future rover stays. Kevin had a great time hanging with her pup Sasha too!

Ayesha accepted a last minute boarding request for Kona. We loved being able to meet her and her sweet dog Sasha before his stay. We received daily updates and are glad to have another sitter nearby for when we are out of town.

Ayesha was very friendly and loving to my sweet pup. She is accommodating and easy to arrange drop off and pick up times. I could tell from her daily photos that my baby was well cared for. I will use her again for my dog sitting needs

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my day because I already plan my routine around my pup. We start the morning with a walk and feeding, and I have a flexible schedule that keeps me home often for playtime, potty breaks, and company. Evenings are spent winding down with another walk, dinner, and cuddles. Any pet staying with us simply joins our daily rhythm and gets plenty of love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe every pup deserves individual attention, so I only pet sit one paw at a time to make sure your pup feels truly at home. Since my sweet pup Sasha will be keeping us company, your pup does need to be friendly with other pups. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and relaxed environment where your pup can feel loved and cared for while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

Every pup is unique, so I tailor activities to match their personality and energy level. Typically, we’ll enjoy morning and evening walks, playtime at the dog park, and—if your pup loves the water—swimming adventures at the lake.
