Availability
With all booking, please keep in mind that times of arrival are estimated with in 2 hours. Example: if you for a visit at 12noon, I may arrive between 11am-1pm to begin the visit. This flexibility allows me to take other visits that maybe close to yours, line up visits for gas efficiency, as well as adjust for weather related issues (sometimes a dog doesn't want to walk in the rain 🤷🏻)

Information Aye R. would like to know about your pet
I require pet parents to leave out their vet info, carriers, any emergency contact information, and list of allergens. I also require that pet parents contact their vet and emergency vet before their vacation to let them know that I am the pets temporary care taker, in case of emergency. Every vet is different in how they process this information. This keeps your pet safe and gets them speedy treatment in an emergency situation. Please let me know if they have preferred interactions or if a specific type of touch, noise, or other animal sightings on walks makes them upset. I want your cats and dogs to succeed, and need all their safety information to provide that.
A typical day
Make sure you tell me your pets favorite ways to play! I'm happy to let dogs sniff for as long as they need, and go on walks until they are tired out. I tend to let your pet lead the visit. It can take time for a pet to warm up to a new person, and they may not feel immediately comfortable with a stranger walking them. By taking some time to warm up to each other, I can ensure a better long run experience for us. I also can ensure all sort of enrichment by hiding treats around their favorite spots, filling up their treat puzzles, and playing with favorite toys!

I am a trusted pet sitter in my friend group and in the Owings Mills area. I've helped get several pets adopted in loving homes, TNR arrangements for many colonies, CPR trained for pets, and provide a loving home for 3 misfit cats of my own. I understand how scary it can be to leave your pet for any extended time, and am here to help alleviate that stress. I'm experienced with many common household pets such as Dogs, Cats, Fish, and Guinea Pigs. I'm very detail oriented, so as long as you provide instructions you can trust they will be followed. I have a special patience for shy, anxious, or easily over stimulated pets. I respect their boundaries and do my best to ensure their needs are met while keeping both of us safe and happy.
