I am available week days and weekends and can accommodate both traditional and non-traditional schedules. Because this is my profession I have flexibility in my schedule for last minute arrangements and understand life happens for cancellations.

For dogs, I'll play with their favorite toy, fetch, or walks. I'll make sure to schedule water breaks for any outdoor activities. And if that's not their speed, I am good with chilling together and giving plenty of pets. Let me know any commands or hand signals ahead of time and I'll make sure to use them to maintain consistency. I have 8 indoor cats, so I am familiar with being quick about going in and out of doors and not leaving escape exits.For cats, I like to play/hunt before meal time to meet their instinctual needs. I understand cats can be shy and will go at their pace with getting to know eachother. If they're feeling up for it, I'll cuddle and chill with them, or have a conversation. I clean litterboxes daily and will watch dogs to potty to make sure ins and outs are normal. Photos of food and water levels will be provided so you can, also monitor while away.

A typical day
I can walk your dog around your neighborhood or take them to a preferred park. We can play any games they know, like fetch, or just work on maintaining certain commands with treats to reinforce while you're away. I love playing with toys, laser pointers, or water (for those who enjoy it) for cats and dogs. Or for those more skiddish felines having a conversation at a safe distance. Chilling and giving cuddles are a must, as tolerated.

I do drop-ins in your home. I have owned dogs and cats continuously since childhood, including fostering litters of kittens and senior pets. I started pet sitting for neighbors at 9 years old and continued that practice throughout my adulthood. I have taken classes with a dog trainer experienced in handling reactive dogs and multi-dog households who utilizes positive reinforcement and no-pain training. I maintain a happy clowder of 8 cats and 2 dogs in my home and I bring my experience from that to my clients' homes. I am capable of managing medical and special needs animals, including oral medicine administration, injections, and special diets. I have cared for kittens and puppies all the way to seniors. I have some experience and am familiar with drop-ins for birds. Feel free to express any special requests.
