Pet care experience
Pets are my children
I have been around animals ever since I was 6 years old. I had a pet rabbit for 12 years, Also in that time we had 2 hamsters. Before my rabbit passed, my family and I started fostering animals for a shelter and even adopted a few of them. We fostered animals that were too young to be adopted, sick and needed medicine, housed them until they could get their needed surgeries, or just when the shelter got too crowded, we were always happy to help. Everybody, including me, played their part in caring for the animal we were currently fostering, whether it was walking, bathing, feeding or administering medicine to those who needed it. My love for animals has grown over the years and would like to adopt my own family of pets in the future. No matter what breed or species the pet is, I look at them as part of the family, be it mine or somebody else's. Every pet i have or have had in my care, I treat as my own child. I make sure they're fed, they're happy, they're healthy and whatever else they need to be comfortable in my care. I'm attentive to all actions and behaviors and love to learn new things about every pet. I have been pet sitting for Rover for a little over a year and it has been a wonderful experience and look forward to continuing this path. I am self-employed, so my availability depends on how I schedule my work. This means I can pet-sit whenever needed and work on my own when I'm not. On the weekends, I usually like to have those days for myself but I am flexible with my time, it just needs to be discussed at least 3-days prior. I respect every clients home as if it is mine and how I would like my own home treated in my absence. I follow the guidelines set for me by the client, in regards to caring for their pets. Mondays-Thursdays, I leave for about 3-4 hours to walk dogs then return to care for the pets I am sitting. At the end of the booking, I like to leave the house as if I was never there, just as it was left for me.

Ayanna took such great care of my diabetic cat Runty! She was the most relaxed that I have ever seen from me leaving her on a long trip. I highly recommend her to everyone!

Yanni was wondering with my super energetic Pomeranian. I was at ease while I was gone for 16 days, she made sure Gus felt comfortable & was being himself . She kept me updated on everything. I’ll definitely be using her again.

Yanni was wonderful with Gus!

She was amazing!! Very responsive and super responsible. She obviously has a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to dogs. This is the first time I have felt relaxed when leaving my dogs :) will rebook

Ayanna did a great job keeping an eye on my two dogs over a holiday. One of my dogs in particular is fond of getting into things and Ayanna handled his antics like a champ. Thank you, Ayanna!

Always so glad to have such a trustworthy sitter taking care of our fur babies!!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am self employed, pet sitting and dog walking is my main job. I make my own schedule and am willing to work around others' schedules.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in client's home the way they instruct me to, as well as, how I would treat my own pets. I look at any and all animals as a child of the care taker, whether it be me or the client. I care for their fur baby according to the instructions left for me, what they tell me they need but ultimately with all the love and care I would give to an actual child. I make sure they get outside time, are fed appropriately, medicine given as needed, and most of all get all the pets, cuddles, and loving i have to offer, which is quite a lot.
A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs, running with them, or even just napping with them. I love cuddling, so dogs who love to cuddle, as well, are already my favorite. I love to take dogs on walks on trails and/or through the woods and even sometimes run with them. If your dog loves the dog park we can definitely go to one.
