🐾 Experienced Animal Caretaker
I’ve had two cats of my own and have several years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I have worked and volunteered with animal shelters in Norway and currently work with an animal sanctuary in Tenerife. I’m comfortable around animals with different personalities and backgrounds, and I understand the importance of patience, trust, routine and individual care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, relaxed and well cared for while their humans are away.

I have hands-on experience caring for and working around animals through my time at the Tenerife Animal Sanctuary. I understand that every animal has its own personality, boundaries and routine. In your home, I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, behaviour and house rules. I’m attentive, calm and respectful, and I’m always happy to send regular photos and updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

Awat is a true cat whisperer! My cat, Tussi, absolutely adores her, and it’s easy to see why. Awat has such a natural, calm and loving way with cats, and Tussi feels completely safe and comfortable around her. She is incredibly caring, attentive and gentle, and seems to instinctively understand what a cat needs, whether it’s cuddles, playtime or simply some space. I would trust Awat completely to look after Tussi and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable and genuinely caring cat sitter. Any cat (or dog) would be lucky to have Awat looking after them!

Schedule
I work in the arts and cultural sector, mainly remotely and part-time while based in Santa Cruz. This gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, playtime and companionship. I’m available on weekdays, evenings and weekends and can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine.
