I have a flexible work schedule during the week with some weekends busy with family/travel. I am ready to work around your schedule. I would prefer to work closer to my house (columbia heights) or work place (foggy bottom) for ease of scheduling and commute, but am willing to travel if required.

I love playing with dogs. I would take the dog out for walks and to your favorite dog park. At the same time I also like to snuggle with cats or play with them indoors.

I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was a kid. More recently, a lot of friends and neighbors have asked me to look after their pets (both cats and dogs) while they are away and they have always felt relaxed knowing I am looking after their loved ones! I have a cat myself and I take care of anyone as if they are my family. I often become best friends with the doggos and kitties with just a few interactions. I also volunteer at a rescue in my free time so know that you are choosing a pal for your furry family!

Awanti took wonderful care of my cat, Myrtle! I needed someone for 2.5 weeks of daily drop ins on short notice, and I will absolutely be asking Awanti to take care of Myrtle again. She clearly knows how to work well with cats and really enjoyed interacting with Myrtle, she was very responsive to messages, and she left Myrtle (and my place) in great shape.
