Hi! A little about me… I have loved animals my whole life and have dedicated my personal and professional life to learning how to be the best caregiver possible and helping strengthen bonds between people and pets. I have volunteered or worked at service dog organizations, shelters, dog training facilities, a groomer, and veterinary clinics. I also hold the following continuing education certifications: -University of Washington - Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior -Low-Stress Handling - Silver Certification -Elite Fear Free Certified Professional - Grooming, Veterinary, and Trainer -North American Veterinary Community - Human-Animal Bond Certificate -Certified Professional Dog Trainer - CPDT-KA –Dogsafe First Aid and CPR Need someone to check in on your dog while you’re at work? Someone to stay with your pup while you’re out for the evening at dinner and a concert? Round the clock care while you’re out of town? Wanting to ensure they are well cared for and loved while you are away for the holidays? I am there for all those needs and more; I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Avonlea is amazing! She’s ontime, answers texts and emails very promptly and Frankie absolutely loves her. Full day yesterday and another next week. We love the photos she sends us and we’re totally confident she’s giving our pup excellent care.
Avonlea stayed at my place and took care of my dog for a weekend. She was very communicative and updated me often with pics/text on how my dog was doing. Thank you!
Avonlea was great and our pup fell in love with her. It was a long day, but we knew that Frankie was getting excellent care and we got constant updates and pics. We can't wait to use her again.
Avonlea has taken really good care of our dog on both walks and longer house sits. She’s a quick communicator and always sends great photos! She has been gracious with accommodating special requests and last minute asks, thank you so much Avonlea!!
Avonlea took care of our dog, Poppy, for 17 days. She updated me daily with texts and pictures. She made me feel comfortable that Poppy was doing great, she was happy and that she was being well cared for. Also, when we returned home the house was as neat as when we left it. She took her roll as our dog sitter very seriously, and I can’t thank her enough for a job well done!
Avonlea has stayed with our dogs a few times and has always been a huge help. She takes great care of them and we come home to happy dogs and a clean house.

Schedule
Your pet is my top priority! I do work part time, however, so your pet will need to be comfortable being independent for part of the day. I have open availability on weekends, around holidays, and a summer break from June-August. Feel free to always ask if I am available!
