I’m what they call a “Fun” cat lady
I’ve grown up with cats of all kinds—from sweet snugglers to those with a bit more “spice.” I truly believe that people who don’t like cats just haven’t had the patience to watch a feisty feline become a cuddle bug or a shy kitty learn to trust. I’ve cared for many cats over the years, including those who needed regular medication. It’s not always easy, but I’ve developed the skill (and the calm) to handle it with care. With lots of patience and gentle attention, I’ve even helped former feral mousers become affectionate lap cats. I can’t wait to meet your kitties and get to know their unique personalities!

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll make sure they get walks when needed, cuddles when wanted, and space when preferred. Every pet is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual needs. I care for every animal as if they were my own—providing love, attention, and a healthy, happy environment.

Averyl was excellent in her care of our two grandogs, Bella and Harper. She connected immediately with both pups and gave them wonderful attention. We felt very confident leaving them in her care while our daughter and son-in-law were joined in matrimony. Averyl texted Maren and kept her apprised of how the pups were doing throughout the long day. They obviously had a great day with her because they were quite relaxed when our children arrived home that night. We would definitely contact her in the future and would be happy to refer her to anyone going up to Tahoe or Truckee who needs a capable and competent individual to care for their beloved pets.

Averyl was great with my dog. He’s a good boy with a couple silly tendencies and she handled him exactly as I would have wish she did. He had a blast with her and was very excited to see her when she showed up. I will definitely book her again! I’m hesitating leaving this review because I know she will be booked up fast, I trust her with my doggo!

Schedule
I work from home from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., which gives me plenty of flexibility in the afternoons and evenings. I’m available for walks and pet sitting after 2 p.m., and I truly enjoy both morning and evening walks—having a furry companion along makes them even better!
