Hi, I’m Avery! I’m originally from South Louisiana and now call the Charleston area home. I’ve always loved being around dogs and naturally gravitate toward them—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I take a calm, attentive approach and try to make every dog feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I have a corgi named Moonpie who’s friendly, playful, and used to other dogs. He tends to think he’s much bigger than he is (thanks to growing up with a German Shepherd), so I always keep personalities and energy levels in mind when introducing dogs. If you’re looking for someone dependable who will treat your dog with genuine care, I’d be happy to help.

Avery took care of my dog for 5 days. She did a wonderful job and sent lots of photos and updates. Reeses(my dog) loved playing with Avery’s corgi. Highly recommend!

Avery has taken care of River several times. I would highly recommend her. I would leave her ten stars if possible.
Avery (and Moonpie!) are incredible. My dog is always happy, I am confident in his excellent care, and Avery is communicative, flexible, and a pleasure to work with. We are fans!

I work a typical 9-5 with T/W off! Pick & drop offs are more than welcomed anytime before 8:15a or 6p! Please message me & we can figure out a time that works best for us!

I live in a one-story apartment in a very walkable area- due to this I can only watch up to 2 dogs at a time.

Ein typischer Tag
A day in the life with me and Moonpie is all about fun, enrichment, and tail wags!** We usually start and end the day with walks around the neighborhood, and if the weather cooperates, we make a trip to the dog park for some off-leash playtime and socializing. I’m always on the lookout for new ways to keep Moonpie engaged—whether it’s training games, puzzle toys, or spontaneous play sessions. Keeping dogs mentally stimulated and happy is a big priority for me, and I bring that same energy to every pup in my care!
