I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities since I was little, and I’ve provided home-visit pet sitting for both cats and dogs (including a few who weren’t exactly best friends!). During every visit, I make sure each pet is met with the compassion, patience, and care they need to feel loved — always on their own terms. I’m passionate about balancing play with organisation, ensuring your pets have a wonderful time while your home stays clean, calm, and cared for.

Pets are the heart of every home, and I believe they deserve to be treated with the same love and respect they give us. Whether your furry friend prefers quiet tummy rubs or an energetic play session, I’m here to make sure their needs are met with care and attention. While they may be the heart of the home, I also know how important it is to keep that home tidy and welcoming. During visits, I’ll not only play and bond with your pet, but also check their favorite little “mess-making” spots to keep everything fresh and clean. I understand how hard it can be to be away from your pets, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and videos — little “hellos” from them to bring you peace of mind while you’re apart.

I couldn't recommend Avery enough. I was quite worried about leaving Smudge because she's become very attached to me as her only caregiver as I live alone with her, so she is very shy and nervous around other people. Because of that, I wasn't sure how she would settle, but Avery put my mind at ease straight away. She sent regular, detailed updates about how Smudge was doing, including her behaviour, eating, and little bits of progress she was making. It was so reassuring to receive these updates and know that Smudge was being looked after. What amazed me was how much Smudge seemed to come out of her shell while she was with Avery. She's always been very cautious around people, but Avery clearly took the time to build trust with her and make her feel safe. Since coming home, Smudge seems much more confident and relaxed around others, which is something I never expected. Avery was kind, reliable, and genuinely cared about Smudge's wellbeing. It was obvious that she treated her as if she were her own pet. I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave Smudge, and I wouldn't hesitate to leave her with Avery again in the future!
Avery is a lovely, friendly and calming person to be around. Great communication. My Buddy (cockapoo) seemed very settled very quickly. Will definitely recommend Avery.
When we returned Daisy and Riley were clearly very happy and had had a great time with Avery in our absence. Avery proved to be an excellent communicator; she kept us up to date with reports and photographs. As a result we were able to relax and enjoy our day with family knowing the dogs were in good hands.
I have had Avery look after our family cat many times over the last 2-3 years. After my parents moved home, our cat became quite sick, having recently turned 18 and lost his familiar home. Avery was instrumental in making him feel more comfortable. She took very good care of him, gave him all the love and attention that he needed. He doesn't warm to people easily, but as soon as Avery walked through the door, he was purring and cuddling for hours at a time.
